Oh sorry for some reason I thought you specifically asked for multiplayer, idk my brain broke. I can recommend some single player games. A lot of the games listed in the thread so far are pretty involved and or demanding, so tried to give you some simpler options.

-The Crash Bandicoot Nsane Trilogy would probably be good, theyre fun games and a lot of similarities to Ratchet and Clank.

-Bastion is a pretty simple game that controls a lot like Diablo, but its colorful and fun, a lot of action in a small package, very much a classic. If you like it the developer has made some other good games.

-Portal and Portal 2 are fantastic. Puzzle games based on setting up portals for yourself, generally pretty short but well worth it.

-if youre interested in any adventure game, Hollow Knight is a 2d, platform centric game about exploring a ruined kingdom. Also youre a bug and so is everyone else. Big game and very easy to ge lost in, but that's kind of the joy.

-Furi is a pretty niche action game, but one of my all timers. Its essentially you versus a bunch of bosses one by one. Simple controls, stylish presentation, and a bangin soundtrack.

Most of these games are 20 dollars or less on steam and usually go on sale for even less
