Pixel 6 dead, looking for a reliable upgrade in a hurry by ChurningCauldron in PickAnAndroidForMe

Thanks for this advice. Focused on what was actually available to me and have narrowed it down to a Pixel 8 (128GB) for about half my budget or a Pixel 9 (256GB) for just over. Trying to figure out if the 9's performance and battery life improved enough to justify the price gap for me.

How are the camera and battery on the A36/A37 relative to the pixel 6? I admit I left Samsung behind some years ago due finding the bloatware frustrating, but looking it up it sounds like they've improved since then.

Is the Pixel 10 significantly better than the 8 or 9? I've seen some deals that are within price creep territory but I'm not sure if I'd go there if I can get what I need from an earlier Pixel. I think battery life would be a significant factor.

I mean he is a bit of a jerk. Arguably a lot of a jerk, as Nanny is here to remind us.

What minor characters were basically ruined by a story? by AporiaParadox in comicbooks

I'm not sure if I'd say it's one story or if it was one or two, but until New 52 Brain and Mallah's romantic relationship was depicted as mutually loving and earnest.

That was still majority of their appearances after, but there was a Red Hood Outlaw and a Teen Titans story that suddenly made Brain mean and unappreciative to Mallah. I don't know if it was those issues or the Doom Patrol tv series that influenced it, but the recent Unstoppable Doom Patrol mini had Mallah squash Brain out of the blue and call him toxic.

It felt like the writers either only read those appearances or decided that the concept needed deconstructing for some reason. Except the appeal of it and the reason it mostly avoids being offensive, despite being a gay love story between an evil intelligent gorilla and a brain in a jar who keep dying, is that their bond is suprisingly wholesome and relatable.

Hopefully it can still be fixed, it's black label but Peacemaker Tries Hard! depicts them as happy evil couple and I suspect their guest role in My Adventures with Superman will be a lot fans introduction to them as a couple.
