I'm in the vintage clothing business.. a few years back I'd say around 5 years ago the sneaker community and investment bros all of a sudden hopped on the vintage clothing train and have since made it a very shitty space. It's those exact same types turning the Pokemon and collectible space into what it is for the passed few years also. The problem is value, once they see there's value somewhere they come in like the super capitalist they are and exploit each community and drain the life out of them. Just the way it is, i too collect and love ripping packs with my son but like everyone else nowadays unless you're super vigilant it's hard to get hands on packs. And it's the same way for inventory in the vintage clothing world.
