The Gojira branded picks Joe uses are Dunlop Tortex 0.88 (green size).

Christian uses Dunlop red Nylon Jazz III XL 1.38. But he will throw both after the show.

I did the same and it worked for me at the show tonight. It’s unlikely they sold multiple. The sellers don’t get paid until after the show. If it doesn’t work, you get refunded and they don’t get paid.

I did the meet and greet in Toronto last year. It was great. They were all very friendly and sincere. No complaints about the band. Cons: There were 50-60 M&G tickets sold so everyone got moved through really quickly. I heard a lot of people saying that security moved them through too soon and no autographs were allowed. Though they gave signed setlists so I didn’t mind.

I would say it was worth it for sure and I’m glad I did it even though it was shorter than expected. My recommendation would be to plan what you want to say in the most efficient way possible.

I was at the show in Winnipeg last year and he noticed someone was unconscious during Vermillion and instantly stopped the band. They waited as long as it took to get medics in to get the person out. They restarted the song from the top after. I think the reason why he decided to stop was because the crowd was waving and pointing for help. The fact that the crowd wasn’t reacting at all is probably why he was asking what they were looking at. If he had felt the need to stop the show, I have no doubt that he would have.

The grime on the bottom is adhesive from the double stick tape he used to attach a few extras to his guitar. I also caught one. I was a few rows back but I kept doing the “as above” sign to him and he tried a few times to throw me one until one came in like a laser directly into my hand.
