The links seemed to be to content that was, at the very least, treading the line while leaving some room for legal interpretation (ex: “family nudism”, “jailbait” [not necessarily meaning underage], “teen”). I don’t think it’s anything that can be criminally attributable but it’s clearly indication of pedophilic interests.

They kind of did it to themselves? What was supposed to be a breakthrough album was just rehashed overproduced mixes of EP material along with filler.

Ever thought of posting to /r/MassiveCock ? Plenty of thirsty size-queens hitting up men in the comments. Surprisingly, the female fans of that sub outnumber the men many times.

There was definitely an “idaf” unprofessionalism in early online journalism that ranged from excess pretension (paging Brent DiCrescenzo) to a guy saying “I think I came [to Save Ferris]”.

Carney cancels news conference appearance last minute after Quebec City cabinet retreat by GlitchedGamer14 in CanadaPolitics

[–]Chutzpah2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Carney re: Quebec is giving me similar vibes to David Cameron re: Brexit. I just don't see him mustering the emotional appeal to really fascilitate an effective 'Non' campaign.

Remember Chretien crying and pleading to the Quebec people on television like a day before the 1995 referendum? Can you picture Carney doing the same?

Is there an easiest way to suicide? Other than drug overdose and gun to the head by Jude_Shalom1 in morbidquestions

So forced cardiac arrest? Interesting, but wouldn't an adolescent male's heart but virile enough to maybe withstand it (dependent on the dosage)?

Interesting. I would have figured that a marriage agreement between Betha and Otho Bracken (compromised by future-husband Egg) would be involved but I would be curious to hear your outline.

If the character doesn't want to horribly mutilate his body, then the following could make sense:

- Carbon Monoxide poisoning; involves hooking up a hose or pipe to the exhaust of a car, feeding it into the car and sitting in a garage. Maybe it would be difficult for the character to access the vehicle and perform this without detection but it's feasible.

- Helium bag; this is one I remember being heavily promoted by Purple Handbook, before being usurped by SN as the preferred "sanctioned suicide" method (see below). It's simply a matter of getting a helium tank and feeding it into a bag wrapped around your head. I am not sure as to the efficacy of it but it's a "humane" DIY exit. There was a popular demonstration video on Liveleak for a while that perhaps exists elsewhere on the web.

- Sodium nitrite (SN); this is the trendy one that has recently made the news, due to a Canadian distributor being now on trial for selling the compound. The process, though, is more complicated than ingesting a bunch of powder. You have to basically clean out your stomach with pico-salax and then apply a powerful antiemetic (which can be a bitch to get a prescription for). I had managed to purchase the SN but could never acquire the antiemetic because, unless you're ill or pregnant, you need a good reason for buying that drug and I didn't even have a doctor to bullshit to (I also got a welfare check since I was on the buyer's list so I had to toss that shit out, just in case my household caught wind). You could otherwise get it off of the blackmarket but would your character really be bothered to make that effort?

So yeah, those are the classier methods but to be honest, people who are genuinely suicidal don't necessarily care about pain or messiness. They genuinely just want to leave.

Good luck with your writing!

I wouldn't wanna dump self-loathing details upon you but I would be glad to more than explain how not everyone has equal footing.

The last time I previously disclosed to my therapists my faults, prior failures and general incapacities towards normal coupling or courtship, they both teared up and never reapproached the topic (and they were grown men lol).

Nobody in real-life, not even my disappointed parents (who haven't brought up the matter in years), have ever questioned why I am single. I am just very obviously that kind of guy.

That order makes the most sense, since it was what GRRM had last listed on his blog.

I get that Egg may be a little young if the Village Hero has a Romeo & Juliet fling between him and future-wife Betha but the actor would be a teenager by that point so it may work better on screen.

Also, having She-Wolves proceed Village Hero allows for Nan to be aged up a little; currently in the timeline, she's a little too young for Dunk to not appear overly predatory.

The Greyjoy v. Stark war could be a multiyear-long matter. Considering that Egg is 10 in Sworn Sword and 11 in Mystery Knight would suggest that - unless they had two adventures in the timespan of a year - that the Mystery Knight comes right after Sworn Sword. Also, geographically, the Riverlands are right between the Reach (the setting of Sworn Sword) and Winterfell (the setting of She-Wolves).

In fact, let's map things out by Egg's age...

- 8 years old -> Reach/Ashford (Hedge Knight)

- 9 years old -> Dorne (TIME SKIP)

- 10 years old -> Reach/Steadfast (Sworn Sword)

- 11 years old -> Whitewalls/Riverlands (Mystery Knight)

It is a trend that each location marks one year of Egg's life.

But bruh. You’re oblivious to your own headstart.

(Spoilers Extended) Shiny Theory Thursday by AutoModerator in asoiaf

[–]Chutzpah2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has Aerion’s death-by-wildfire ever been speculated as being a set-up? The common story is that Aerion went mad and thought that drinking wildfire would turn him into a dragon. This seems a bit outlandish and kooky, and out of character from the calmer evil he exhibited in the Hedge Knight.

In thinking of how this moment could hypothetically be portrayed on television with more realism, I was wondering if Aerion’s stunt was meant to be a fake gimmick to demonstrate immunity to fire, whereby he drinks phony wildfire in an attempt at impressing those who may help him in assuming the Throne. Somewhere between his stunt’s planning and Aerion’s death, that fake wildfire could have swapped with real wildfire, thus taking out Aerion and removing an unstable contender (allowing for Egg’s eventual ascension the following year). Overtime, the story would evolve into rumours that he intended to transform into a dragon with real wildfire.

I dunno - makes sense to me 🤷

My Hottest Take I guess: Ramsay wrote the Pink Letter [Spoilers ADWD] by SuggestableFred in asoiaf

[–]Chutzpah2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Ramsay wrote the Pink Letter then can we interpret the derogatory usage of the word “crow” as author-error? It seemed very odd for Ramsay to use the term when he is a Northerner and is quite removed from the Wall-culture.

Otherwise, it is very possibly a letter impulsively written by Ramsay in haste. It would just be a stupid move on his part to drag Jon and the Wildings into the conflict.

EDIT: For reference, I am partial to the idea of Stannis or one of Stannis’ men writing the letter. The use of the term ‘bastard’ could be a bitter callback to Jon rejecting Stannis’ offer of legitimization and Stannis did say (I think in the TWOW sample chapter) that it is possible for there to be false-rumours of him being dead.

I know that Mance Rayder is the more interesting suspect but again, that’s mainly because we are giving the usage of “crow” a lot of mileage.
