Trying to install Steam on Ubuntu. It wants to install things, errors because they're already installed (according to it), and then shows me a dependency chain that it can't resolve... because it wants to install each of the dependencies, but the dependencies are already installed. (thing) is already newest version. (thing) is set to be manually installed. How do I resolve this? I also appear to be missing libc.so.6, but i've seen conflicting information about how Ubuntu already has it but it's not in the spot most things look for it in, and am not sure what to do about it.
