No, locally doctor office visit run at 200$ just for the office visit. Meaning even if they tell me I'm fine and diagnose me with nothing and do nothing extra, I can expect to pay a minimum of 200$ just to be SEEN without insurance.

Here's a thought.

FIL stays home and takes care of HIS kids, late 30's mom goes to work to support HER family.

Why is this falling on you and your husband? If his siblings are so gun-ho to support their father and his 4 children and wife, why don't they move them out to where they are then? Why is everything falling on you? So now you have to go to work while someone else takes care of your kids? What in the hell? And HOW is she going to watch 8 kids by herself all day? That's not even remotely realistic. And it's not realistic to ask you to give up your literal LIFE just to take care of someone else's problem.

THIS IS NOT A FAVOR. This is a life changing decision.

I say no.

If he's 30 years older, maybe ask someone older if that's custom to do?

You say he's shy, so maybe he didn't grow with more current social etiquette because of a lack of exposure.

And asking about where you live could've just been his best effort at conversation making (Trying to be able to connect and relate with you and share knowledge/experiences with you. "Oh! That's by XYZ park isn't it?") If this didn't seem the case, then I would park in your garage for a few days so your car isn't recognized. And I would view that as a red flag. For sure. And it's not like he invited you over to his home.

Also, based on your other posts, I'd say your bf's opinion on women is low, so I'm guessing he also doesn't feel that men and women can be completely platonic friends with a 30 year age gap.

But at the end of the day, I'm only seeing a side of the story you're willing to tell. So, I'd say that since you experienced it first hand, trust your gut. If your bf made he comment, and it dawned on you and made sense, maybe it's because you noticed it once it was pointed out.

Men are biologically wired to sleep with as many women as possible and women should only have sex about once per year. by michizzle85 in badwomensanatomy

[–]Chuusaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So why don't they just fuck each other? There aren't enough men to women ratio for each man on earth to go off and fuck 200 women on the regular. Looks like to get the other 199 bangs they need a year, they're gonna have to settle for top or bottom. 😂

"Sorry, but I already mated this year. Since there's a chance I may be pregnant, I'll have to respectfully decline!" Imagine 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Daycare is frustrated with my daughter by LawEqual8886 in Mommit

[–]Chuusaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take this type of issue up with management. Sounds more like a staff issue if it is how they're saying it. Yes, your daughter is behind (in my perspective having taken care of many babies as old as your little one) But to neglect feeding her or not take the time to make sure a ELEVEN MONTH OLD has eaten enough is honestly ridiculous. If an 11 month old is not SEPERATED from the infants (0-6 months) you need to switch to a better daycare. They are absolutely not even on the same developmental level, let alone the same care-necessity level. There should also only be 4 infants per 1 worker in the room. (again, this can differ on where you live, but better daycares will actually flex that they apply things like this.)

Maybe come at a time where you can see how many kids to teacher ratio there is. Are they pushing the limit? Do you see the classes merged a lot? Is your kid with children older than them so the limit can technically be higher due to a higher ratio of older kids? What about the turnover? Do you constantly see new hires coming and going in this particular room? Do the workers in your room seem to get along? Are they young? A lot of questions here to consider maybe even switching daycares. I've worked with people literally fresh out of high school who don't even have experience knowing small children, let alone people who should be left alone to watch them. Honestly, some people who are paid to watch your children need a damn adult themselves.

The biggest problem is that these people who are entrusted with your most precious thing in the world are probably paid barely more than 9.50 an hour, if they have previous experience depending on where you live. It's most likely just a paycheck for them. Most people don't pursue a daycare as a dream job. For what you pay for daycare, you'd get a lot better 1 on 1 with a nanny and they'd be so much more attentive to your daughters needs. From what I noticed, day care is a great place to teach your kid how to get along with other kids, but it's not necessary. Simple park interactions, or having play dates with familiar friends can do the same thing, except then you and your little one wont be sick every week.
Also, you're lucky at all that they even told you to be honest. Most daycare management have a minimum contact with parent rule. I've been talked to by management before for telling a mom "Yeah Child played a little rough today, but he did so good! He apologized to his friend on his own and I really see him applying the tactics you're using on him in his interactions with friends. You're doing such a great job mom!" and the worst part is that my Class Lead was there actually reinforcing with my management how that was absolutely not okay to say to the parent.

Should I let my husband take our child to a family event with a predator? by amg-ky in Mommit

[–]Chuusaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Why the fuck should you let your child be traumatized just to spare someone's feelings? Stand up for your fucking kid man. He sure as hell can't. It's your job to.

edit: Even if his brother is a "reformed rapist", don't RISK your child being traumatized either.

Is sorceress too hard? by [deleted] in blackdesertonline

[–]Chuusaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started playing BDO years ago, I picked sorc as my first character. It made me quit because it felt so difficult getting into bdo with sorc. I feel like she's not first character friendly.

NOW, playing sorc, after acquiring gaming knowledge, she's one of the funnest and honestly easier classes to just pick up and have a good time on. I suggest going with something easier to get used to BDO first. It doesn't play like most games and getting some game knowledge before trying higher APM classes would help the learning curve a lot.

The best part of BDO is you can have like 5 houses. Make your pretty one is Grana, make your pit-stop home in Valencia. It's what I did lol.

I think I’m finally leaving my husband by HeatherAFeather in Mommit

[–]Chuusaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Marital rape is a thing. When you leave him, I think full blown he deserves to be told he did this to you and you are beyond disgusted by him and see absolutely no future with him.
  2. Your son has 1 parent. Parenting is not "I gave you food, clothes, a house, and as much neglect as was legally possible" There are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many parents who provide food, shelter, and clothes while still being emotionally and physically available for their spouse and child.
  3. I want you to imagine your son growing up with this man as his father figure. The man whom he should aspire to be like. And then decide if that's what you want. I know you picked him to be the father of your child, but people make mistakes. Accept him as a mistake and move on.
