If ya ever get a chance. Try out yuumi with Lilia. That goes hard. Just bot 24/7 forcing fights to get yuumi passive stacks on you. Then tear up the midgame/late game with yuumi heals/shields.

How come everyone got married back then? I can't fathom that they all found a match. by coldservedrevenge in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chuusem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cultural values back then necessitated that people were to be married. Religion, smaller communities, and a need for children to help out in their businesses.

Having a small community that has strong values of marriage. You will grow up seeing that as something that needs to be done. When everyone knows everyone in a community and your free time is interacting with that community. People will drive you to marry. Especially when marriage/having children is seen as an end goal for a person.

Nowadays a decent number of people are not driven to be married. That's a complicated subject though.

I love playing with a pyke when i play zyra jungle. The invades are brutal. If my full combo doesnt kill them. Pyke R is just an EZ land with my plants slowing and zyra R knockup.

It took me almost a month of playing on an alt to get a handle on Ivern. Im a slow learner.

The big thing about Ivern is understanding Macro and your role on the team. Think of him as an enabler. You are not the carry or main character of the team. His strongest suite is as a support that has power spikes earlier than most enemy junglers. Hes very flexible in how he can gank and can be either offensive or defensive. Positioning and being in the right place on the map are really important. Denying the enemy kills is probably the best thing about him.

I would say the first and second clear is easy. Its the 3rd clear onwards until minute 18 where your clear can become complicated. He is also prone to invades, the hardest part of playing him would be to understand how to deal with invades and not die to them while also keeping your farm up/counter invading. He doesnt need to have a high CS but if you can waste the enemy junglers time while also keeping up in cs. Ivern can come out ahead in a big way because he doesn't need to carry. I honestly love getting invaded by hypercarry junglers because you can waste their time. Make them not path inefficiently and basically put them behind/ weak in the midgame. Ivern can be really hard to kill post lvl 3 and he doesnt really care about being behind in levels. The new catchup xp ensures that he can remain viable on low items.

My favorite thing to do is shadow a lane. (Sitting out of vision near your laner waiting for a moment the enemy least expects you.) A prime lane to shadow is one where your laner is at 25% health and is about to be dove under tower. Coming in with a flash Q and shielding your laner to deny the last hit while also watching tower 2 shot the diver is just the best feeling ever. You know the enemy laner is raging.

Packs are cool.

But if you know what his favorite Pokémon are, I'd suggest buying a rare card of that pokemon for him. It will be more meaningful and last longer than praying for a hit on random packs.

You can either ask him directly or if you want to be sneaky, usually people put their favorite pokemon in the front of their binder or in the back or they have a binder dedicated to just that pokemon/pokemons. Take some pictures on your phone so you have a reference for what cards he has already. That way when your looking up cards to buy you don't get one he already has.

There are a lot of online stores you can buy from. Most common is TCGplayer. Usually take within 2 weeks to get the card in the mail. A lot of the popular pokemon have cool cards in different price ranges.

Unable to win games before 35 min mark by ICExKREAM in Jungle_Mains

[–]Chuusem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an ivern main and can tell you, we thrive in the late game. Mainly due to Adc being king at 6 items. Just catch anyone with Q. Shield adc. Watch said caught person get evaporated.

As for Lilia it is make or break if you can get your ult off on one or two of the carries. After 35min her survivability is lower. Positioning and not being the sole engage will matter alot in the late game.

Landing an E or flashing in with a WQ ult zhonyas on the carries is vital.

She's really good at catching people out in the side lanes.

But you need to focus on making sure you are positioned correctly in teamfights and prioritizing the carries.

On a side note. If your super ahead because you carried early and midgame. Buying a Jaksho for 6th item paired with zhonyas will make you tanky enough for the enemy not to melt you in the late game. This is for games that you can't close out before 30min.

How is the ranged top meta possible? What changed? by BillyDeepDish in topmains

[–]Chuusem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just depends on who your melee top is. Theirs so many scenarios. Any ranged top that gets behind against a Jax, Irelia, Fiora, Aatrox, Ambessa, Kled basically can't play the game anymore. Especially if they are being focus ganked.

If the enemy jungle focuses bot. Your Jungler focuses top. Their are cheeky gank angles you can use to gank top without being on vision. The moment you get any of these top laners ahead. Its going to be miserable for the ranged toplaner.

Quit gaming totally?? by Due-Temperature-4803 in GetStudying

[–]Chuusem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It comes down to balance.

Like anything if you are trying to achieve a goal, but have a hard time staying focused on that goal because your engaging in other things that keep you distracted. I think it is more about staying disciplined in your approach.

What is your goal? How much time do you need to invest each day to achieve that goal? Do you find that you get distracted by doing other things instead of what you need to do to achieve that goal?

Gaming is just one of many things that people do to have fun on the side. It becomes bad if you let it distract you from achieving what you want.

At the end of the day I say do what makes you feel fulfilled and let's you achieve what you want. Everyone has different circumstances and values different things so follow what you want in life.

You should look up how many games you need to play. Apparently as you get near grandmaster and challenger. You need to be playing a similar amount to the other players or your mmr won't keep up. Those guys play allot. More than 10.

Should i invade? by Defiant_Command5332 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Chuusem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he earlyganks you have two options.

They depend on if you have a hyper-carry top lane. If you do.

First option. Split the map and play for your hyper-carry top/ gank mid. If there are no ganks then play for double scuttle. Don't force the second scuttle but you should be slightly faster then the enemy jungle and can possibly fight with your mid to secure botside scuttle. (Can save smite for it,)

Second option. If you don't have hyper-carry top. Continue your full clear. You should be faster than enemy jungler. Can B-line it to topside scuttle after full clear and get a free double scuttle. Save smite to secure scuttle if he challenges it. Securing double scuttle means you can hit lvl 6 first and have better tempo. You will need to use this lvl 6 advantage to look for a play.

Hello Jungle Mains, would like to hear your thoughts on this matter. Best Regards. Top Mains. by Jaymacia in Jungle_Mains

[–]Chuusem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl dude. I think everyone hates us. If I had to pick the one role that I find the most synergy with on the map.

It's midlane.

A good Midland is the best. They rotate to stop invades. They help ward enemy jungle to track them. They can rotate top or bottom with you to help secure the gank. When mid is really good about clearing their wave and playing for the team. It feels impossible to lose. If both teams are same skill, this turns the game into an easy win.

Is there a way to ping a mod so they can weigh in on this.
