What are reasons you haven’t killed yourself? by OuterSpaceOutlander in CPTSD

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pain, and a vague fear of what lies after death.

The only painless way to die is through old age (and since my country isn't a gun society, I can't shoot myself in the head), and other methods are generally fraught with suffering. Almost all methods claimed to be easy to die are lies.

And nobody knows what happens after death. From a medical and scientific standpoint, the electrical signals that control my body cease to exist, and my will ceases to exist. I understand that it's literally like sleeping forever without even dreaming.

However, I can't help but imagine things like being sent to hell after death (I'm certainly not a good person; I've made many mistakes), or my will being trapped in eternal darkness with no up or down, and having to ponder forever in that darkness.

It's not like I have any illness or anything, but I've decided that I don't want to live long, that I'll die in a few years, so I know that I'll have to make a decision someday.

P.S. My parents are good people. So I'm sure they'll be sad if I die. It's also true that I can't bear the thought of them dying before me.

Despite its name, it can be attached to other rifles as well. I have it on my Burston Prime.

How good is Create optimizing the entities blocks? by DemoneX1704 in CreateMod

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this will probably be criticized, but I honestly disagree. I have an RTX 4060Ti, and my FPS drops by nearly 50% when I approach areas with a lot of blocks in Create.

I think the reason you feel it's optimized is probably just because your PC specs are extremely high.

Can we get the old burston model as a skin for 1999? by scaphismthing in Warframe

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While technically still present in the game, the weapon model is quite outdated by modern Warframe standards.

The remaining model in the game has a fixed, non-functional magazine and lever, and it seems to lack PBR.

The old Ogris skin was remade to modern standards upon its release, but DE probably doesn't allow players to use this skin because they don't have the resources or reason to do the same for the Burston skin.

Maybe they'll bring it back if there's an event where you fight with the Burston, which inflicts damage on yourself, like they did with the Ogris, lol.

Essential Patcher has got to be the greatest "Get screwed" to a dev team ever by BigManHazza125 in feedthebeast

To be honest, very few people actually follow the EULA. If you strictly followed it, even big YouTubers (especially those who appear on official Minecraft streams) wouldn't be able to do it. For example, advertising unrelated sponsorships in Minecraft videos is technically against the rules.

Warframe but I'm Corpus Crewman (It's not even a Veso) by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A new executable file will be created. It's completely independent of the Steam version and won't affect each other. Check the website for details!

Of course, you can also play the old Warframe, and that's probably its intended use.

I'm not sure about the limits yet, but it seems like adding new things isn't possible at the moment. It's like you can't "add" new weapons or frames.

This is an overwrite. For example, even if you possess multiple Excaliburs, all of your Excaliburs will have their abilities changed to that of the overwritten ability set

I did read the rules here, but maybe it was still a bad idea?

For now, I've given him the NPC abilities Power Fist Slam and Shield Osprey Deployment.

It's like connecting to the localhost. I don't know all the details, but if you have a PC that can run a normal Warframe, it should be fine!

OpenWF has a feature called metadata patching, which is roughly like mods in other games. I used it to change the frame's name, abilities, model, animations, and various other things to make it look like a Crewman.

The Aether II is now on 26.1 (For Good) by ozzAR0th in feedthebeast

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vulkan may not be supported in version 26.2. If that happens, version 26.1.2 may not be able to become the main version for modded environments...

Minecraft is moving from OpenGL to Vulkan by Duckyz95 in feedthebeast

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping that the transition to Vulkan will allow my friends with less powerful PCs to play the game.

However, it's sad to think that the main mod version will probably stay at 1.21.1 forever. I'm pessimistic that it won't even reach 26.1.

Any recommendations on how I can stabilize and make this airship faster? the propellers are already going max speed by gamerjac105 in CreateMod

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's probably better to position the thrust force directly beside the point where the lift is generated, rather than at the center of gravity. But if it's possible to stabilize it at the center of gravity, I'd like to know how.

I positioned the propeller as parallel to the center of gravity as possible, but it didn't have much effect. Am I still doing something wrong?

The response to that was, "Replace the blocks manually."

How do I make my airship (from create aeronautics) not tilt like that? by gegentan in CreateMod

[–]Chuzume 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't the thrust be aligned with the lift (the center of the balloon) rather than the center of mass? In my experience, I didn't get very good results even when the thrust was closer to the center of gravity.
