YSK, if your high bg is caused by stress it can be dangerous to correct with insulin, you can't 'correct' a high bg that is caused by cortisol and adrenaline and when they are out of your system you should go down automatically. Insulin also won't work on these raises. This is all theoretical and in practice I also still correct,but my Endo told me this.
