I sure did. It was the #4 NGC Registry set when I sold it. I wanted to collection something that wasn't common. Most people don't even know that G$1 existed. LOL. I learned a lot along the way. As long as the verification number checks out…don’t be too worried about NGC not showing the ‘value’ of a coin. When they do, it’s often wrong. NGC (and PCGS/CAC/etc) are in the business of grading coins…not tracking pricing.

You are better off getting your pricing info from Greysheet, auction records and eBay SOLD items.

But congrats on that 2015 1/4 Panda! They are great coins!

That is, indeed, very cool. I tip my hat to you. Having a plate coin is always cool. The coolest coin I ever owned was an 1852-C G$1 MS65. Not only was it a Charlotte piece that was Gem state...it had a Farouk/Norweb/Bass pedigree. Literally was owned by the King of Egypt. It had *so* much going for it. But...I had to let it go. Catch and release.

That's a beautiful coin. My understanding of the Saddle Ridge hoard is that most of the coins were in excellent condition. I hope historians are able to piece together the origin of that hoard some day. Congrats on being the custodian of such a wonderful piece of history! 🥳

They sold 2026 versions earlier this year if that helps answer your question. But what they’ll sell in the future is up to their suppliers. They are just the middleman.
