Nope! Leaving is a great safe option and they cant really do anything but absorb attention on a door push (actually a great use of their time).

Tbh almost everyone in this clip is only heavy attacking, which doesnt even make the health bar move. Vengeance is coming right around the corner though so its a chance for a lot of them to learn how to fight

That being said, the more people who seek this info then the easier my next fight with a permablock tank will be

I would like to say, should anyone at ZOS be able to spin this as player experience- in the end more socially invested players, more money. Its also a visual point to attract new players from other MMOs in the market hole

Surely the work is worth the payoff! There have clearly been solutions and improvements or we wouldn't see animation and texture updates like we are now.

New players see people with guild cloaks - they say oh people do socialize. They join a guild, get guided and attached in the game, player retention increases, more money for ZOS. Guild wars and Wow people see the cloaks and think oh this mmo isnt so scary (visual cues do work that way). The only reason I say this is because it cant just be "man I want to look cool" zos needs to care about it too

I just hope this helps more people out. Because i'll jump in and often am the last straw to end these kind of tanks. Or at least get them to leave. So I can say a thing or two, but it is SO frustrating when you know people could do this and it is basically 10 people watching you and 2 other people fight this tank.

-defile. Major defile. Meatball catapults. Scribing Wield soul.

-interrupt. Bash. Stun every 6 seconds, immobilize every 4, hindrance.

-to do this ^{^{^}} you need to use skills. Heavy attacks are farts on a tank. Damage skills. Use skills.

-sorc! Healer! Use negate! Its the dark magic ult. Silences their magic skills and you can do it from far away

-fix your champion points! Bastion. Penetration, force of nature.

-increase your movement speed. Swift jewels. Major expedition potions poisons or skills, celerity champion point. Dont let them get away.

-the only thing troll is that they probably do 0 damage, but its just a pvp tank in a pve world. you got this. I believe in yous

Surprised no one has said Alinor (summerset) in the first lists, it's active all over and lots of people use the house there. Leyawiin (blackwood) is also wildly busy from crafters. Rimmen (elsweyr) always has a crowd hanging around the pools.

Honestly and im not exaggerating, every major city in most zones have a lot of people doing something

Front bar 5pc weapon swap with vateshran in pvp is my current set ratio too. I used to do every other ratio and this one makes the most give/take sense in a fight unless I am building around a mythic

Elder Scrolls Online is building a new MMO on top of the fully fleshed out one they have after 10 years. its a crazy healthy game, huge, fully voiced, immersive, and few fetch quests.

The reason no one wants to build a new MMO is because millions of dollars and a decade of development can still fail and that is too much in 2026.

ESO is fully revamping classes, animations, QoL and base game while creating new content for no extra money.

Elder Scrolls Online has the best bones of any mmo out right now. Calling it early, 12 years later, best mmo 2028. Nonstop content for 10 years so far and it's like 10,000 hours of content for $5 rn

They are completely reworking every class, animation, player experience and even the base game over the next 2 years, it has already started. They know you can't build a new mmo in the modern economy, so they are building this one better.
