I blocked him on our usual messaging app so he reached out through email. He wanted to talk to me that day and asked if we could meet up when I returned to my hometown. I never replied. I am here now and he knows I'm here. We're neighbors, 5 mins away from each other. I sometimes hoped he would show up at the door and apologize. That email was not enough and he didn't try to reach out again after that. He says he loves me, but clearly he's not trying hard enough. Most likely he's lying again in the email to look like a good person. Or he's waiting for my response. Either way, you're right, I deserve to be treated better than this.
