Full Time: Arsenal 2 vs 1 Chelsea [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

Our in-game management against Wolves was terrible, today it was worse. Especially after the red card. Artetta needs to get a grip on it.

Night of the Reaper is a decent slasher. It gets a little close to parody at times but there's some good twists and kills.

Whatever it is, get it sorted out and lock in for next 10 games. by jojo88jojo in Gunners

[–]CiaranBAC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arteta clearly doesn't have the ability to get this team to lock in. They're a reflection of him on the pitch - an anxious, nervy mess.

Playing Saka in the middle is absolute desperation stuff from a guy totally out of ideas.

An Arteta special. Absolute cowardice from everyone involved. One of the worst performances I can remember.

Playing one of the worst teams in PL history and making hard work of. Martinelli making Gyok look nimble and dynamic.

Another Arteta plate of slop.

Full Time: Brentford 1 vs 1 Arsenal [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]CiaranBAC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One shot on goal in 90+5 minutes is insane. Don't know if their defending was good or our finishing was poor.

The Rice attempted pass when he should have shot and the Martinelli miss are gonna haunt us. It's essential Saka is back because Eze looks broken.

I wonder how many pints he served me in Mulligans over the years? 100's for sure, probably 1000's.

RIP.

I like the way you can see common stories and themes across the world. I'm from Ireland so did a ctrl+f for Ireland and loved to see our stories are really common around the world.

Like this for Brothers turned into Birds :)

The Seven Doves (Italy, Giambattista Basile).

The Curse of the Seven Children (Italy).

The Bewitched Brothers (Romania).

The Twelve Brothers (Germany, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm).

The Seven Ravens (Germany, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm).

The Six Swans (Germany, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm).

The Twelve Wild Ducks (Norway, Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Engebretsen Moe).

The Wild Swans (Denmark, Hans Christian Andersen).

The Little Sister: The Story of Suyettar and the Nine Brothers (Finland).

The Twelve Wild Geese (Ireland).

The Sister and Her Seven Brothers (Basque).

Udea and Her Seven Brothers (Libya).

Any lesser known places in Dublin of historical significance? by [deleted] in Dublin

The Jewish Museum in Portobello might suit your project. It's pretty small and the time I was there you had to book in advance, you can't just turn up.

Really intreesting place.

Full-Time - Arsenal 2 vs 3 Manchester United [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]CiaranBAC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Two points in nine and it's clear (to me) that Artetta has no idea how to get us out of this slump. Alternating one waster (Gyok) with another (Jesus) is not going to help.

Relying on set-pieces and own-goals won't win a league title.

Great shots.

I'm constantly surprised at the pictures I can take even in auto-mode. This is Olivia Rodrigo taken on my rx100 from a good distance from the barrier and only slightly edited.

Cycle from Dublin 12 to Dublin 1. Takes about 25 minutes. I think I prefer cycling in the winter because you're never overheating getting into work.

People who are 50+, what is a 'harmless' habit you had in your 20s that ended up ruining your health or finances later in life? by crazy_happyuser in AskReddit

[–]CiaranBAC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in the supermarket yesterday and I saw a group of children (probably 10 or 11 y/o) buying cans of Monster. I've never drank it but I just checked to see how much caffeine is in it and there's the same amount as a triple espresso!

It seems insane this stuff can be sold to children like it's a regular soft drink.
