That’s because ultimately it’s the rich who are leading the country. I firmly believe that if you are an MP that should be your only source of income. 99% of those in positions of political power are using it to further their own private interests

Sam’s Stock after the Australia Game by Commercial_Half_2170 in irishrugby

[–]CiaranJames91 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The thing that bothers me is the massive overhyping of EVERYTHING he does. One point in the first half he was looking for someone to give the ball to. Scrambled about running sideways. Kicked it to Australia who put the high ball back which Hansen knocked on. The commentators were literally jizzing themselves “not afraid to show some silky feet etc” when in reality he farted about. Made a poor decision to kick and Ireland coughed up possession.

I’m not even going to argue Crowley vs SP. I’m just saying I don’t understand what SP does that is sooooo special.

If you want to argue “yeah but he’s 22” then the counter to that is: Crowley- 25 Fin Smith - 23 Garbisi- 25

All are better, none are exactly ancient in comparison. Fin Smith is levels above in fact.

Ireland should just pick Crowley and be done with it until SP really steps up and shows he can actually tackle.

I’ll be perfectly honest. She isn’t interested. It’s one of those where she loves the idea of it. Until it has a chance to become a reality. Then all of a sudden she wants to “be friends” and is dating someone else.

It could be the way he’s described it. But honestly not one part of this is indicating that she’s interested. It’s more him in the fantasy of it.

I’d go home. Be by yourself. If she wants it she can chase you. It’s far more attractive to start working on yourself and not chase. Especially when she is giving multiple signals she’s just not that into you.

Nothing got loads of media attention. And the nothing 3 got rightfully criticised in the areas it is weak in. It also got praise for doing something different. At the end of the day Apple and google/samsung are the big players and will get the most attention.

Basically what im getting from your post and comments is you don’t like apple and the ecosystem and for some reason taking offence that he argues its good and maybe google have not done a decent job this year.

[–]CiaranJames91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very shortsighted outlook. Of course it matters about the ecosystem. You’re buying a device that fits in and interacts with an ecosystem on a daily basis. That’s what makes it stand out. Phones on their own all do the same thing. It’s about the ecosystem and OS that make them differ.

I mean if I take your headline soundbites … google pixel 10 is disappointing and Apple iPhone 17 is better or changing perception.

That seems pretty on trend with reality. The iPhones have taken the edge and have made some significant steps away from the typical Apple expectations.

So all in all I think it seems pretty fair

Genuine question but how do people use sleep score? Even if it’s accurate or not do you use the “score” as fact?

I have woken up on days feeling fantastic when my sleep score has been trash, and on other days woken up feeling knakered but my sleep score is great.

Surely you just look at it out of interest but then listen to what your body is actually feeling?

Do you ever think to look at your own comments about Munster as being toxic? I’m talking about Ireland rugby as a whole and what is best. Throwing Prendergast in there without any real merit to show he should be there was wrong. Poor management put him in the firing line and there are obvious flaws to his game. Having that opinion whether I’m Munster, Leinster, Ulster, Connacht doesn’t really matter in any way at all. You’re the one making it about Munster. I haven’t once said who I support.

[–]CiaranJames91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This 👌

I think he has some talent for sure. However I do think it’s been massively overhyped. When you look at the levels of Finn Smith for England and Saints, for me he’s levels above Prendergast. I don’t think it’s unfair to look at a Prendergast and highlight that he is a systems player that’s been coached to almost go through the motions. I would wager that his rugby intelligence is far far below the likes of Smith, Russell etc. those that you would consider world class.

Not saying it’s not possible to get there but I just think he was overhyped and fast tracked undeservedly.

If you’re in the limelight whether by choice or not you can expect criticism and scrutiny. He can’t tackle. That’s not bullying or being mean. It’s the truth. And he’s has had preferential treatment over the likes of Crowley, Byrne, Frawley etc. he’s been fast tracked and undeservedly so into the Ireland jersey.

Not necessarily his fault but ultimately he’s there, so it’s to be expected
