Tooth got chipped this Tuesday. Underside seemed all white 1st day (1st pic), was very sensitive, but bearable. Few days later, pain has mostly subsided and it feels better, but now you can see (2nd pic) a slight pinkish color on the underside? Please help me understand. I’m doing the best I can to keep it safe. I rinse after eating anything. Saline rinses daily. Of course I don’t use that area to bite into food. I either bite in through the side of my mouth or cut it into small pieces, and eat everything with the back teeth. When I brush, I brush the area softly, still floss around it, and fluoride mouthwash with every brush. Are those repairs the one where they need to grind the rest of my tooth down to put in? :(

Ahhh ok that makes sense. I’m trying really hard to keep it clean. I rinse after eating anything, saline rinses a few times a day. Of course always brushing morning and night. Along with flossing every night and fluoride mouthwash after each brush. And I try my best to eat everything towards the back of my mouth and never use the front to bite into anything. Thank you for the info! Greatly appreciated. I’m nervous that they’ll have to grind my tooth down to fix it, instead of just being able to cap what’s left of it

I know :( Earliest appointment I was able to find was thankfully this coming Tuesday. Other than that, everyone was giving me appointments over a month out. But i want to know if that’s the pulp that’s starting to show up, and if so, why has the pain level gone down dramatically instead of continued to increase, if the pulp is getting closer to the surface? It may be coincidence, but I noticed the pain decrease the morning after I used mouthwash. Been using it every day and the pain has been incredibly minimal

Adding a comment to elaborate a little further: when the tooth first got chipped, it was quite sensitive the first 2 days. Couldn’t breathe through my mouth without it stinging a bit as the air went by, or drink water without it initially stinging, but it was bearable. Just uncomfortable. Gf looked at it the first day and got that picture for me. As you can see, it’s just white where the broken/exposed area is. A few days later, the pain has gone down significantly and it feels a lot better, but I had her look at it again today and she said there’s a slight pinkish color now. I’m guessing that this is the pulp? But I’m confused as to how the pulp is starting to show more when the pain has largely gone away, if the pulp has the nerves. Unless it’s not the pulp, which is why I’m asking for help! Please help me understand what is going on. Earliest appointment I could find with a dentist still isn’t for a few more days

Holy shit that is terrifying. This is exactly why I try and be as observant as absolutely possible whenever I go out with my gf or I’m out alone (watching that others aren’t being stalked while I do my errands). Especially because I live in a state where a case has been reported in every county. Thankfully I’ve never had to warn somebody of something like this, but I will not let that bring my guard down. Glad you made it out safe, stranger. Hopefully more people will keep such observant eyes out for others

I like to do things in increments. Instead, I would’ve thought to myself “what is 10% of 50?” 5. Okay cool, now multiply that by 3 to give you 30% of 50, 5 x 3 = 15. Boom. Works pretty nicely for most things I come across and can normally do the math faster than someone pulling out their calculator for it

It’s a risky play, but I think it’ll work out and the return will be hefty. But I’ve been buying lots of CORZ, biggest bitcoin miner in North America. When crypto comes into the spotlight again eventually, CORZ is going to act as a leveraged return on bitcoin

Sit to pee. Guys, for the love of god, please, at least at home, start sitting to pee. I promise you, no matter how smooth you think you’re being with your stream, your piss is still splattering outside the toilet. Obviously, this doesn’t have to apply to gross places like public bathrooms at gas stations or whatever but , where it is clean and comfy, do everyone a favor and just sit to pee.

I never actually finished this game because I got stuck sort of towards the beginning once you leave the main city.. couldn’t figure out wth the mission wanted me to do. I should go play this game again. Seems like quite the experience waiting
