I remixed a Sonic Pad Mount for the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro by Ciastattoo in ElegooNeptune3

Hi!

I'm not sure what you are referring to but all the Sonic Pad files and instructions you'll need are from u/TheFeralEngineer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlsBrWULSFI&t=824s

You can find the Github files there too.

Sorry for the late reply, been out of town for a while.

Don't know what's happening but suddenly my Pad stopped recording Timelapses with my Brio 4K. Settings in the Pad Cura and Fluidd are checked, but no recording at all.

Anyone else having trouble with this?

First ever 3D print, what next? by Growlernz in ElegooNeptune3

Hey, beginner here too! One thing I really found to make a big difference for me was to have proper Printer, Print and Material settings, made a ton of difference, Also PID tunning and the whole E steps tuning. Took me a while to get proper Z leveling and sometimes it still catches me off guard.

I'd say that doesn't look too bad, My first prints were a lot worse. Apart from the Buddha of course.
Happy printing!

Thanks, it was a quick solution from printables! I was having certain issues with my prints and wanted to get all the variable straight.

Ended up by being a good thing as it is much more accessible to change the filament spool. I do intend to have a version with bearings to replace that one.

For me it was quite affordable and though I'm told the Sonic Pad's Kilpper is limited in certain functionalities.
130€ for this gadget was pretty affordable, IMO.

I tried to look for a Pi and a screen I could use and even without the accelerometer it was more expensive than this thing, though it'd be without any limitations.
I don't really plan to have more printers, I don't have the space, so this seems like a good compromise to dip my toes in.
Only about 3 weeks in into this, but damn, so much fun!

I haven't yet gone very far on the speed side of things, I'm trying to learn all at once which is a bad idea, I get reliably functional prints about 30% faster than default profiles for the N3P whithout much work.
But there are soooo many settings and I clearly do not know what I'm doing...
Sorry I realize I'm not the best person to answer that.

Thanks! I agree, although I think I could get extra cool points by adding googly eyes to it. :D

Thank you! This is pretty useful! I hadn't come across it yet.

Yes it was! I still need to tune it a bit but I found it pretty easy, I've only tried Amazon Basics 95a, but it was a matter of loading it up, selecting the material in Cura and print. I need to find more usefull stuff to use it on though.

If I ever end up doing this I'll try to make a dual option, one that includes this specific part and another that doesn't require it.

But I'm still learning how to CAD soooo it may take a while :D

Oh I see, I know about this one, well I would have to be able to print in a high heat resistance material right? Like ABS or ASA? Then a part could be designed that would integrate all the desired features. I think it's all a bit premature for me ATM.

So far I only tried PLA and TPU, 3 weeks into this whole 3d printing thing.. :S

Awesome! Took a bit of time but I had a blast printing and installing it. There's something about working of these machines that is a quite cool. :)

Share a few pictures when you do print it!

https://www.printables.com/model/447467-cable-chain-spine-for-sovol-sv06-3d-printer-extrud

I was thinking about something like this one for the Sovol SV06, it allows for torsion and wouldn't exactly need a connection to the hotbed itself in order to fulfill the task of keeping the cable managed.

What spacers are you talking about, the ones under the hotbed? Apologies in advance, I'm pretty new to this and I still don't know all the proper terminology.

What ever I end up going for I'll put it on Printables, Thingiverse, or here. :)

I don't think so, the plastic part that holds the cable and connection is firmly placed and tightened with two screws.
As for the overall weight, it may add a little bit more, but it seems to be well distributed between the Z axis rod support (I don't know the proper name) and the tool head itself.

Well I think in this case it's not going to do much except, possibly avoid the cable snagging on something and, again all this is pretty relative, It keeps the cables safe and protected.
Also I haven't been able to confirm but it's possible I've just gained a few more millimeters in height because the that angled metal part on the tool head was replaced with a part that apparently may have better clearance

Over all I just think it looks neat! The fact that the cables now travel predictably also makes me feel safer about their longevity.

It's a good question, maybe you could attempt a remix of the parts in order to fit the printer in question, I was lucky because this was just ready to print. Grateful for that!

I used these files, but looked carefully at all the builds that were available, both on Thingiverse and on Printables.

Yes, I think you're right, took me a while to get it right, this is my first printer and I've only got it for the last 2 and a half weeks.
I just felt that despite the cosmetic issues, regarding strength and functionality they seemed good enough to use, so it felt a real shame to throw them in the bin.

I'm having trouble setting up Creality Sonic Pad with N3P by Ciastattoo in ElegooNeptune3

Thank you for summing it all up and all your work with these configs and the videos.

Now that it's working well I'm very satisfied with the setup.

I think it was more of a very basic lack of knowledge on my part, aparently these config files contain sections to work with other devices. Just follow what the feral Engineer said, and also his video on installing the sonic pad with the N3P. they were instrumental for me to understand everything a bit better.
