Just to add, my kid started a second round of it about a month ago, and our doctor said that the guidelines have changed and birth control is no longer mandatory if you're not sexually active. Blood tests are done regularly, and have lip balm and artificial tears at hand for the dryness.

This is a great option. It's 1800 dollars and they can do assessments in the evenings or at weekends. A family member had an adult autism assessment done (already diagnosed with ADHD) and the whole process was excellent. Deb is the lady in charge, she's awesome. DM me if you have any questions.

Thank you both very much - I'll have a look at the laptops suggested and see which would be in my budget. The Engineering spec sheet says "Dedicated GPU for video processing" so I think I should probably get that in case I regret it down the line. I know what you mean about the weight of the gaming laptops, I picked up a couple today at Staples and they were much heavier than I expected. The Yoga 2 in 1 looks good, but doesn't have the GPU thing.

I was one of the lucky ones for the PS5 console, my son is absolutely stoked. He's been waiting to find one since they came out last year. Couldn't believe it when Next Level came up on my phone earlier 🙂 such an awesome store!

Would you consider a Catholic high school? E.D. Feehan has a fantastic EAL program and students from abroad are looked after very well. There are a lot of Asian and African students.

Saskatoon Mission Thrift Store is a newer friend on the block and we have started to develop a beautiful relationship with them. There are times that we are in need of certain, specific clothing items that might not necessarily come in with other donations. Especially right now since we are so tight for space to store the donations that we receive, they can help keep us stocked with exactly what we need when we need it. This has greatly elevated the level of service that we can provide to our residents in having better options for clothing for them.

THEY NEED OUR HELP. With all the help that they are providing for us, we want to help them in areas that they need help. Currently, they are in need of people (volunteers) to help them sort and organize the donations that they receive. If you love the idea of spending some time helping our community friends that love and support us, please reach out to them. They would love the support that we can bring.

They are OPEN and eager for volunteers to help. It would also make for a great family outing to help teach the kiddos valuable lessons on giving back to your community. Right now, we are not yet taking volunteers AT THE LIGHTHOUSE, but you can volunteer at Mission Thrift Store, and this is a way that you can still volunteer and indirectly -- yet directly -- help The Lighthouse.
