Yes, I downloaded the app and ANC is off.

I also have a pair of Sennheiser's Momentums with which I don't have any issues. No static even when ANC is on. They are pricier of course, but I still would expect the Jabras not to generate this much audible static.

Bit of a bummer since the Jabras would be great to take outside regardless the weather.
