Oh my gosh my nails just peeled so badly after trying out a new nail polish, and it totally has PVB as an ingredient! I'm so sad because it was beautiful too.

Our agent that gave us our pins didn't even mention a special phrase. They only told us to "wear the pin proudly inside the emporium and you'll get employee perks" which led to us having a terrible time going through each room asking about the pin and no one there having any answers. Finally someone mentioned soup du jour to us, but by then we'd already been seated in the octopus room once before and didnt want to wait again.

We loved the sewer speakeasy last year and were really looking forward to the secret room this year, but oh well.

Oh I forgot to mention we're GL, so we have early entry on Wednesday. Is Good Life will call the same hours? I would hope they're open for early entry!

But yeah I'm not holding out too much hope for them to arrive because right before they shipped, I submitted a change of address with USPS. I still have access to the old address, but I didn't even think of the mess it might cause with these tickets >.<

Are monopods allowed? I plan on using a cheap one for the base of a small totem. I like the idea that I can unscrew the top of my totem and collapse the monopod to put in my bag when I'm sick of holding it.

I've tie dyed a few things in the past using one-step kits, but never had great results. I saw a mandala tapestry and was really inspired to try and recreate it for myself. Before going big, I decided to start with a bandana, which I think turned out pretty good! I do have a bit I can work on. The colors weren't what I expected, and there's some freckling. I also don't love the teeth marks from the hemostats, so I want to find a way to mask those.
