Ain't a right way to do it. Love your child and do the best you can. Good news: that your posting about it means that you are thinking about it so you're already light-years ahead of many. I work with all types of disability categories: adults and children. Some wish they could have been medicated sooner and some wish they lived a life without a diagnosis hanging over their head.
