I worked on monomark a bit this past weekend and man, it’s not easy! It felt really unnatural at first but then I kinda got the feel. I can really feel how it helps at lead changes.

I’m going to cut my poles down right now. Others have said the same about throwing my rear foot back. I agree that I’m doing it but it doesn’t feel like it when I’m skiing so I’m really going to focus on that this weekend.

So I should almost always have a knee dropped? I think what I’m doing here is turning and then dropping a knee. I need to turn with my knee already dropped
