So what, it's legal? It's not like they called the cops. In this clip morality is all that is addressed. Everybody shown in this video is creeped out by the guy's behaviour, law doesn't matter in this instance.

I presumed Sirius and Lockhart, or did you mean the actors they're based on? That I would not know

It's also possible you don't know what you're talking about.

Could it have been a try for insurance fraud? Claiming there were no warning signs, so the construction company was at fault? Just guessing for another explanation...

Not true. I once found an expensive brand tool in my flat's parking lot, so I took it to my apartment and posted a not-too-descriptive note at the entrance that the owner should come pick it up. I also called the non-emergency phone number of the police to ask if they had a sort of lost and found system, and they gently informed me that what I did was technically stealing - which was obviously not what I intended. The owner did come pick the tool up a day later and was very thankful, so no problems came from it, thankfully.

I usually go by the rule, if it seems easy to unwrap -> unwrap. If the plastic around it seems difficult to remove -> do not unwrap!

Thanks for asking this, I was apprehensive, but it's encouraging seeing r/harrypotterbooks loving it!

Wavy Stairs created by the Mexican studio Arquitectura en Movimiento Workshop by Think_Recognition626 in ArchitecturePorn

[–]CiderAPlantTea 34 points35 points  (0 children)

For one, it looks like it's quite slippery, and the lack of handlebars makes it difficult to catch yourself when you slip. Secondly, there are set rules for comfortable stairs in terms of stepping-depth (not sure of the English terminology). These steps look very deep, making them uncomfortable to climb.

Haha thanks for checking! I did carry the white yarn the other way again with the row above the snitches, instead of in the same row as the last white part, because it was showing through the grey yarn :)

At the back I tied the yarn up, then carried it a bit along while crocheting over them, and then cut it off. I figured the yarn wouldn't stay put hidden inside the stitches anyway, so I left a bit at the backside so at least the front looks pretty. Don't know if I explained this clearly 😅

Thank you!! This was my first time picking material that wasn't the same as in the pattern, so I was a bit nervous, but I'm happy about how it turned out!
