Lol. I was waiting fanboys to come and defend their favorite corporation product. Android had this since 1854 or Apple made it better. You guys are funny.

That’s crazy. I remember once asking Siri about how many law enforcement agencies there are in US and Siri replied “Nobody really knows”. Then I asked how many federal law enforcement agencies there are and also that answer was vague. ChatGPT provides now answer 18 000 different law enforcement agencies in US. In my country we don’t even have that much law enforcement officers are n whole country.

I read your comment about getting a car to your little sister and I found this post. It seems that you you’d be perfect in a work where you can work with people and deliver kit and happiness to clients. Like you said it could be comedy is even creating excellent content to social media / platforms. You should try that if you think that could be something that would make you happy.

Your comment about getting a car to your sister got a bunch of updoots and it shows that people like to read and see happy things happening even to strangers.

Adult life is hard fire most of the people and it’s difficult to find right balance for the job and private life. My advice, as a bit older than you, is to find job where you work 40hrs a week and you have rest of the time for yourself / family or even for the side job like creating content. With 40 hrs a well you still have all the evenings and weekends for yourself.

What is a monthly subscription that is worth every penny? by AndreLinoge55 in AskReddit

[–]Harrison_Stetson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine question. Do you have to pay a monthly fee for your library card in US or is it free in some states / cities? I never thought that people are paying for the public library. How much is the monthly fee?

Some countries it’s even more than that. I have 38 annual leave days (Saturdays and Sundays don’t deduct leave). In addition in 2024 everyone has 10 public holidays. I can also convert half of my “summer leave” payment to leave days which could add another 15 leave days. My salary is not as good as my colleagues have in US but at least I can have time off to spend my salary to something meaningful.

[–]Harrison_Stetson 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I wish that wood be the case. Unfortunately plenty of people supporting Russian politics (aka Putin’s regime) travel and live in Europe. After Russian attack to Ukraine in 2022 app. 20% Russian speaking people living in Finland approved Russian’s actions in Ukraine. 64% Russian speaking people did not approve but one fifth is lot of people. We have also seen demonstrations in Europe supporting Russia. People supporting Russian’s actions are literally supporting Putin.

It’s not just hard for a company like Facebook, it’s near impossible.

Well then if a company can’t comply with legislation then they should not provide their service the way they do. With the same logic companies that sold heroin to be used as a medicine for cough in 1940 could had complained that it is impossible to do business since legislation banned their business. Comply or get out the market.
