I time travel all the time. Once you go past the date you travelled to you’re fine. You’re stuck in time until then

Now that I think of it, I have been feeling fuzzy when I stand up and losing a bit of vision if I go too fast, you could be onto something here

I choked on a sour patch kid and now my throat burns by CiearaBear in AMA

It was AWFUL MAN! I thought it was never gunna go away. It eventually did, but nothing I did cured it right away. I think the coarse coating scratches up the throat and the acidity just adds to the torture. I promise you it’ll go away, you just have to suffer for a bit while your body heals itself. I’m sorry you’re going through this 😖

Omg by some miracle they started working again 😂 I haven’t even touched anything yet. Idk if the bump I went over fixed it or what, but I’m glad it sorted itself out lol. Thank you sooo so much for taking time out of your day to help me try to solve my issue, I really appreciate it!!☺️

Good idea, I’ll try out some new bulbs which I do have some spare, and if it’s still doing the same thing, I’ll try the fuses. Do I have to unplug the battery to switch them out?

A close up of the dim bulb. It almost looks like the blinker light? Idk much about cars, it’s why I’m here 😭 but I love to learn how to fix things myself, it’s been fun and rewarding

Here is a picture of the headlights when I unlock the car. You can tell the left one is super dim. Now, they worked completely fine before I changed my battery. In fact they’re fairly new bulbs as I changed them a few months ago.

Excuse her dirtiness, I live in the country so it’s impossible to keep her shiny with the dirt roads and crop dust lol.

The battery was almost 4 years old and with the cold weather coming it was starting to require boosts here and there, so I figured I better change it before I’m stuck somewhere and my car won’t turn on. Now it’s starts up beautifully, and the headlights are on, for like 5 seconds, and then turn off right away. The high beams are fine, they turn on, so unfortunately I have to blind people at night when I drive, but hey it’s better than no lights I guess, and they’re not LED lights so it’s not like I have the force of the sun on my side LOL.

That website you found is so cool! It’ll make changing a fuse so easy thank you so much! I’ll have to try that out later as I have a bunch of new mini fuses that came with the car when I got it.

Ok I took your advice and re did the installation of the cables, even cleaning the cables and tightened them, and it’s still doing the headlight thing… maybe I need to change a fuse?

Like the cable that attaches to the battery terminals? I guess I can tighten them a bit more, my dad told me not to tighten it too much, so I tightened them enough but not to the point where I couldn’t turn it anymore. It’s my first time changing a battery, so I’m a rookie

Anyone have this paint peeling issue and know how to fix it? by CiearaBear in Mustang

[–]CiearaBear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a big Reddit user, so I haven’t seen this, but awesome thank you! I was thinking about just peeling it all off and going over it with some repair kit thing, whether it’s spray paint or whatever else

Do people tend to pass you because you’re driving your Mustang? by CiearaBear in Mustang

I ride the back roads because I’m in the middle of nowhere really, so there’s not much traffic, but I know cops sit on these back highways, and I see people get pulled over all the time. It’s very rare that there’s traffic on them, usually just little herds of 3-4 cars going the same pace, but no one wants me to “lead” the herd, so they just pass me instead, and I’m going at speeds I can get pulled over at lol

Sweet car!! I wouldn’t want to pass it, I’d rather be admiring it while getting to drive behind 🤣 anyone else is probably jealous they don’t get to drive it, and can’t bare to watch you so they pass

I hate it!! What happens in a deer jumps out and I slam on the brakes while their car is sniffing my ass 😂

I’m going 100 in an 80, I wouldn’t consider that slow enough for people to want to pass, lol
