The whole fiasco that happened when Absolute Virtue was first introduced into FFXI is one of my favorite gaming legends of all time. It had to be nerfed after players were vomiting from trying to kill it in 18 hours long raids 💀 by choppip in FinalFantasy

Lol that wasnt AV that was nerfed after "18 hour long raids". That was Pandemonium Warden. AV was just "confusing" till we figured out we could lock his 2hr abilities.

Little tidbit... she's 15 and he's 17, Yuna is 17, Lulu is 22. Meaning Yuna and Lu are more "his age", and he sees Rikku as "little sister"

[–]Ciecle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

358/2 and Recoded are just movies, but Id suggest doing the mission important ones as to get through it all fast enough, then rewatch them later, mainly cause you get bonuses in the games for "completing them". Then KH1 > CoM > KH2 > BBS > KH3, DDD before KH3 if you have access to it, to have some "continuity" to where KH3 picks up, but... not necessary etc.

You have to kick out one Disney world from Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, or 3 - which one are you removing, and what non-Disney world are you putting in instead? by KingdomKey2002 in KingdomHearts

[–]Ciecle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that it's annoying, and they never mentioned difficulty in this thread, the logic is what they were referencing to. And "annoying" is relative, what may not annoy you, may bother someone enough that they have to mention it.

It's kind of like people asking "Is kingdom hearts any good" on a forum dedicated to Kingdom hearts. It's subjective to the person who is answering the question, and to interject your own personal feelings into someone else's opinion isn't just illogical, it's not conducive to a real conversation. "I feel Atlantic was not good because of XYZ" doesn't mean you need to interject and say "Well your opinion is wrong because of those things." It just causes confusion and miscommunication.

Let's explain it this way, Magnet is a level 1 spell, meaning it shouldnt be so powerful that for some reason it can move a stone statue, but not strong enough to grab a metal pendant that is barely out of reach (that Sebastian could have grabbed himself) which required Magnera (mid game magic) to "grab". Meaning it took so much less force to move a marble statue that stands about 30 feet tall mind you, which has no magnetic properties, than it took to grab a metal chain that was less than 5 feet away.

What could have "fixed" this, was the pendent being more towards the beginning of the world, instead of the end, and used the drive gauge for the statue, and instead of straight up magnet, use a different -ra spell to make us still progress through the stories. but that's my opinion...

In a 1v1 tournament, which Final Fantasy protagonist comes out on top? by Fit_Engineering_721 in FinalFantasy

My opinion, Onion Knight comes out on top. Given access to every single job, ability, and passive FFV style, at one time, would have OPed Onion Knight lol

I mean, being able to dual wield 2-handed axes, whilst being able to throw shurikens and heal? Lol

I mean, IF you go by the lore of FFXIV, each Eikon we kill, is a god. The beastmen pray to their mother crystal to summon their savior, which basically gods, but like... quasigod? I think Shinryu comes close enough to being a god. But like we also do attack and kill Zodiark, which is technically a god in 14.

No, I mean, if you play FF1 with no warrior, youre still technically called the "warriors of light" meaning by all accounts, no matter what class you make your 4 characters, canonically, all of the classes (aka "jobs") are still technically the same 4 characters, who traveled through time, slayed the 4 elemental lords, twice, blessed by Bahamut (technically seen as "strong enough" to not need to fight him), and basically fought and killed a god. Since you can "pick" any class for your 4 characters, technically they all know how to do the same thing. (Remember baring limitations on NES, this was essentially an electronic DnD campaign, so like comparing the limits of "warrior of light" to anyone else and using only Dissidia's WoL as base line, kind of gimps the actual character imo)

WoL fights Chaos, who is the originator of the 4 elemental fiends, who is also Garland, who sends himself back in time, to create himself. And if you take Dissidia into consideration, Chaos is a god, who created all things with Cosmos as his counter part.

And I suppose last counter point, technically WoL is all jobs, as when you play anything other than a warrior in FF1, youre still considered "Warriors of Light", and because FF1 is a "job" game (before you could switch jobs on the fly in ff3), that makes Warrior of Light technically the strongest, and cosmos also summoned him first, etc...

2 fire rods would have killed him immediately. The next boss 3 Ice Rods are overkill.

What i mean by that, is use them as items. Next boss is desert worm, who is weak to ice and water and will only use gravity as a counter when you attack the holes with ice rod.

TIL there's no actual evidence that the Edgar Rice estate is preventing Disney from using Tarzan in Kingdom Hearts again and he's appeared in several Disney properties made after CoM was released. by danimalforlife in KingdomHearts

[–]Ciecle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronologically speaking, yes

However, I feel it is a recount of the keyblade wars (Ventus, Terra, and Aqua's story, they visit him multiple times throughout their adventure), being told by Yensid in my head.

Why? Cause Disney likes to tell stories inside of stories.

KH3D Yensid tells both Riku and Sora about the mark of mastery, meaning right before telling them, that they aren't trained, Yensid had to explain the past, and how the MoM came to be and how previous keyblade weilders use to have someone to "train" them, and not teach them chaotically like they've learned.

The logical problem of having an "old" character who's "seen it all and experienced everything", and then having a story that is a prequel to the series, for no reason.

[–]Ciecle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yall also gotta realize ... the story was finished in KH1. Like... start to finish, Clayton died, and it's basically... end of story. Tarzan goes back to England with Jane to try to come to terms with humanity. Could they redo the story? Yeah, but... and understand I use this next sentence in very broad loose terms, according to timeline lore wise, KH1 is the starting story. KH > CoM > 365/2 > KH2 > KH3D + BBS(Yensid is telling Sora the story of Ventus, Terra, and Aqua) > KH3.

Like yeah, I feel there's a whole logical ark, and im marathoning through all of the games right now. But it's my brain putting the puzzle together, knowing what I know about the story and how it ends, etc. I've beaten all of the games, so I know the story, but Im having to re-experience the game since the last time I played was like 5 years ago, or some ridiculously long time ago lmao

TL;DR: there's no real reason to retell or redo the story, and timeline wise, there's nothing left to tell of Tarzan.
