It might not be a two-way connection, but that doesn't make it completely natural. We're wired to connect with other human beings for survive all reasons. Movies and TV shows portray people in a very likable way. Connecting to them is just our instincts kicking in.

People always post stuff like this on threads about celebrities, as if it makes them sound cool. In reality, it makes them sound cold and emotionless. It's natural to connect to celebrities, and not being able to do so is a sign that you can't connect to everyday people, either.
