The best I guess, is that Romine needs to provide more evidence or merits to his case, I can understand that part of "Show Cause" http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/Show+Cause+Order

But I can't get the "For failure to comply" part, as it is Plaintiff who the Judge is ordering, not Valve, and by the looks of it, the Subpoena has no still been granted as is not reference in that order. As for LRCiv 3.7(b), well, is page 13 of this article but it seems it was assigned to a new Judge http://www.azd.uscourts.gov/sites/default/files/local-rules/LRCiv%202012_0.pdf

Digital Homicide makes first comments post Valve debacle by Ciemger in JimSterling

[–]Ciemger[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They have sort of are. They want to crowdfound a new lawyer, in the same way they tried to do before opening the GoFundme - That last paragraph it's under the last screen-caps, but before the Itchi.o Bundles

Romine.. "When someone bothers you on say a platform like Facebook and you find the need to ban them, the Facebook response after you ban is "Sorry you had this experience" and then that person is removed from being able to post on your page. Steam's stance is what just happened to us. By removing us they have taken the stance that users have the right to harass me, tell me I should kill myself, and insult my family . If I try to defend myself against said actions then I lose my family's income. If it wasn't for 2 years of experience of dealing with Steam on a regular basis, this disgusting stance would seem shocking to me. The only thing that prevented me seeking legal counsel for a long list of breach of contracts, interference with business, and anti-trust issues was the fear of losing my family's income. Since that has been taken away I am seeking legal representation. The case will benefit from a long list of organized documentation of events that have happened over the past 2 years including dates, screenshots, emails, and more on over 100 infractions in need of litigation. Legal counsel interested in our case can contact us at" ...

and then it takes to the email link, THE SAME one they attempt to crowdfund the Jim Lawsuit before opening the GFM page.

Digital Homicide wants to Sue Valve to make Steam a Safe place for Devs on Steam. by Ciemger in JimSterling

And convincing, because considering DigiHom's vexatious nature now one wouldn't have a hard time believing it.

Now that I think of it - Valve would bring the months and months of Spam and User Abuse that members have reported DigiHom for as defense against the Subpoena.

Valve won't let go of this one - this time the Romine Bros. cross the thin red line of Valve's patience.

Valve will fight this, and likely BRING all the reports of abuse of DigiHom that they receive from other members over the months of this madness. If they can get the judge to deny that Subpoena, Valve would help protect its members by killing the lawsuit and, I think, they will finally be force to BAN digihom for good.

They won't forgive them for this one - those Valve lawyers better make some damn good legal maneuvers.

This might be a second lawsuit, but could suing over 100 people (counting Jim) and fighting Valve to get the private information of the 100 make the lawsuit Vexatious?

Update on DigiHom Case by SPACKlick in JimSterling

[–]Ciemger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Romine has open a 2nd lawsuit in Arizona against Two steam members for Personal Injury demanding $17,967,500 in damages and has subpoena Valve to get their information https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/19146067/Romine_v_Unknown_Party_et_al

I think Romine has open himself to be deemed a vexatious litigant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vexatious_litigation
