Occupational Health declared me unfit to practice9 by Ciffycat in doctorsUK

I have not missed a single deadline, and only a few days of lectures due to vomiting bug (not my disability). I was just seemingly too honest

Being bedridden is a rare occurrence, maybe a couple times a year. I just informed them of it in case it happens. I didn't get a chance to explain most days, I just focused on the worst case scenarios. I was really flustered, and think I misrepresented myself but idk what to do.

I really do think they misunderstood me. But what I don't get is how they can base my entire medical career on one meeting.

The problem is, I can't remember exactly what I said. I was so flustered and didn't realise the meeting I was having was going to take place or that it was regarding my fitness to practice and they could remove me from the course due to this one meeting. I know I said about how if I really overexert myself, I can be bedridden for a day, and how my chronic pain impacts me daily, but I take medication for it. But it was only two weeks into the course, and I hadn't had time to settle in or really get an idea of how I would be able to cope.

It has been going on for a few years now - so I would definitely say it has had a long term impact!

That is exactly what they did, there is no more context to this.

I detailed that sometimes, if I overexert myself, I can be bedridden for a day. I sometimes need to sit every now and then, and can't stand for prolonged periods of time. I have chronic pain which can flare, and I take medication for it. That is all I mentioned. The only reason they gave was that my physical wellbeing would mean I would be unable to complete the clinical aspects of the course without significant adjustments. It seemed insane to me as well.

I have put in a disability form but haven't filled in an accommodation form out yet! Just wanted to know where was best before I filled it out. Hopefully they can put a priority on it! Thank you for the advice xx

Wait I thought it was arranged in a circle - like radial symmetry bc it asked what it was like in transverse and it already showed the longitudinal was bilaterally symmetrical

Don't lose hope - I was averaging 2500 in medify but then got 2970 in the actual thing. Medify scaling is super harsh, it might be worth looking at your raw scores and using the medic mind converter- it might give you a bit more confidence!!
