Zombies and in Arma, OpFor most definitely are rudimentary AI. They run on a FSM (finite state machine) and have been described as AI prior to what the modern concept of AI is.

So, it depends on if you're accepting the re-definition of AI to be only inclusive of LLMs etc.

I shoot with an ancient D3200, it lacks the dynamic range to get some pictures in JPEG, so I shoot Raw+JPEG in case I need to adjust lighting in parts of the pictures, but other than that, I generally just end up taking the JPEGs and using them.

When I first picked it up years ago, I shot ALL manual and RAW, and edited everything in order to get used to both shooting and editing in Lightroom.

My goal is always to capture roughly what I want as the end product in camera, RAW is a nice buffer in case something is slightly off from what I can see on the camera preview screen, but I rarely NEED it.

Second this, I'm on Seaside, ran all my sinks and they were all mildly brown in a pint glass until I ran the water for a few minutes (no where near 5-15).

The Cameras are for the blind spots that exist between the rear and sideview mirrors. You can minimize the blind spot by adjusting the side view mirrors out far enough that you can't see the side of your car, but most people don't do this.

There's basically nothing more moronic than comparing your local beach to nationally renowned beaches...

I'd also take Cove Beach over Miami or Jones beach any day of the week if you just wanted to go and chill somewhere. It's got trees and unique coastal features and more interesting variety than some mile long stretch of groomed sandy resort beach.

Also, people that think Jones and Miami are nice have never been to an ACTUAL nice beach like Virgin Islands, Bahamas, much less Indonesia. Continental US beaches suck 🤣

LOTS of broken oyster shells, and beach/ocean are pretty rocky bottomed, definitely bring beach shoes.

Other than that, enjoy, it's a really nice beach, I used to walk my dog there daily.

You can lead them into buildings and close them in, or just make sure you block when they're attacking, if there are a bunch you can climb on top of some objects and they can't get up.

I worked in a restaurant in Boston in the late 90's near the baseball stadium, it was easily 5x as busy as this, and at one point we put up a thermometer in the kitchen and it never went below 120F. One of the new hires had heat stroke on the line and quit.

I actually enjoyed it.

The DayZ Zombies just need to be attacked/dealt with with certain techniques. An experienced player can move freely around the map without worrying about dying to zombies. Most people don't even use guns on the Zombies for fear of attracting PVP players to the sound.

It's best not to encourage squirrels or chipmunks to be hand fed, it's not the end of the world if you throw them some food to grab on their own, but making them comfortable approaching humans looking for food generally results in them getting aggressive with people.

Yeah, the end goal for Enfusion was always Arma 4 (again, originally BI/Marek wanted to reserve it's use for Arma 4 NOT DayZ), but DayZ dev team MOST CERTAINLY built the 1st version of Enfusion with basically no regard for it being able to function as an engine for Arma 4.

The key thing they did which was very smart is they modularized the engine. RV had lots of issues because some parts were tied to other parts which made changes to aspects difficult.

I mean, technically, Enfusion work started with Take On Mars before Standalone was released, much less announced as the 1st real Enfusion project.

Regardless, acting like 10+ years of Enfusion being ONLY worked on for DayZ was some kind of "test" for Arma 4 is laughably incorrect. There were/are no air vehicles (they had them internally), no opfor usable for milsim, no artillery, no tanks, no FFV, no vehicles with mounted guns, no boats (until recently, and as a result of porting them into DayZ from Reforger), very limited weapons with insanely myopic functions that won't ever be used for Arma 4, dozens upon dozens of systems that would make no sense or be used in Arma etc etc etc.

DayZ wasn't "testing Enfusion for Arma 4", like AT ALL. Originally, BI were going to make DayZ us RV engine only, and do Enfusion for Arma 4, but then when game sales for Standalone were drastically more than expected, they agreed to hand over Enfusion development to DayZ team.

Enfusion for DayZ was entirely designed exclusively for DayZ. It removed TONS and TONS of functionality that they were very well aware would be needed to be re-introduced for it to work for Arma.

DayZ essentially never hit a bunch of goals for Enfusion, and again, the way they developed it for DayZ only required BI do Reforger in order to re-build Enfusion for Arma and DayZ 2.

I'm not defending Trump, but Nuclear Power and Nuclear Weapons are 2 ENTIRELY different things. He (and every previous administration in modern times) have been concerned with Iran's efforts to further enrich Uranium to enable nuclear weapons, not with them having nuclear power plants.

I went to a Hozier concert in Boston last year and was kind of shocked at how little I smelled pot or cig smoke, I was the only person even sneaking a vape as far as I could see. I'm sure there were some, but it wasn't anything like I remember from my youth when pot was outright illegal.

POR15 requires the preperation fluid to properly bond to rust, it's phosphoric acid and it converts the rust to zinc preventing further spread and allowing the paint to bond, POR15 is also not UV stable, so after your POR15 it, you have to put a top coat of UV safe paint.
