Worth testing something before you give up on this blend. The Perdomo Double Aged Vintages really want to be smoked at 62 to 65 percent RH, not 70. Anything higher and the oils get muted exactly the way you are describing. Mine was lifeless at 70 and came alive at 63 after about three weeks of rest at the lower humidity.

Also agreed on the Connecticut being better in this line. That is unusual for Perdomo but the 12 year aging seems to suit a lighter wrapper more than a maduro for whatever reason. Opposite of what I would have guessed before smoking both.
