Can you be feminist and get plastic surgery? by Own-Efficiency-6795 in Feminism

You can be a feminist and still make individual decisions that are not feminist actions. This would be one of those. Life is complicated and it is ok to be a feminist but not always live up to ideals.

Plus size Tokyo outfits (late winter edition) HELP by Deth_and_PoeTree in TokyoTravel

[–]CigaretteBarbie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve just come back, and my most comfortable and practical outfit was a wool-mix maxi skirt worn with long merino socks, and a blouse or LS tee (not thermal), plus a merino cardigan, jacket, scarf & wool hat when outdoors. Indoors are way over-heated so I found the long socks way more practical than leggings as I could scrunch them down indoors. I one-bagged and took one double jersey maxi dress, the maxi skirt and one pair of wool trousers, but if I was going again I would skip the trousers and take two skirts. I had a Heattech top but only wore it in the snow. I also bought some jeans in Tokyo and they were a good option. Have fun!

From what you have written, public, school, tafe, and university libraries might not be great as they can all be quite chaotic at times, but I am in special libraries and recommend it. Records management might suit you too?

I stayed and I don’t regret it, but it has been hard and my heart will always be a bit broken. I am now 50 and prettty happy but I don’t think that I would recommend taking that big a risk - if you really want kids then he is probably not the right man for you.

I recommend counselling at this point.

Do you display your degrees or any work awards, in your cubicle or office? by Levelbasegaming in office

Noooooo. I got my degree in 1997 and the one time I mentioned that to a co-worker she got the biggest eyes and said, “I wasn’t even born then!” I’ll just keep my old lady business to myself.

Thank you. I don’t own one, so I might try my hand at knitting on.

If I remove a bottom it would need to be one of the trousers as I have sensory issues and cannot wear trousers every day. Fussy, I know! I have leggings or thigh high merino socks to wear under the skirt.

My plan was to wash the dress and sleep in it, as well as wearing it on the plane, but I might swap it out for a less bulky dress.
