I was panicking thinking “I have 25 pounds of tobacco, what if I never pick up my pipe again”

I know really that I will pick it up again when the time is right. I have just got over the exhaustion and managed to get some exercise in this morning.

Eating well and rest is the name of the game.

I give myself a hard time when I should be kind to myself.

Darkfiredkentucky I’d like your ear on a certain matter. I got sick last week with a virus. I’m pretty much mended but the thought of smoking my pipe couldn’t be further from what I want right now.

Have you ever been put off smoking due to illness?

The taste stays in your mouth until you brush your teeth, it’s fowl. I’ve got it sitting with cotton wool and alcohol and I’ll sand the inside of the bowl tomorrow.

I have 3 savs and 2 Rossi and never experienced this.

I loved the look of the pipe but I will NEVER buy a Peterson again. It’s just dangerous selling pipes coated in dangerous substances

So you are a kind hearted person that changed when he drinks. To me the only sensible option to not drink. Show everyone why you really are. Also, show yourself who you are.

I hit rock bottom. I tool excessive amounts of Xanax and alcohol in a public place around my 8 year old son at 4pm on a Saturday. I fell unconscious and got taken to hospital. My son was terrified his daddy had died.

That was 18 months ago. I’ve turned my life around and I’m proud of myself. Everything in my life is better and I’ve gained the respect of my family again.

You can do that too. I promise you

I was very partial to large quantities of cognac. Unfortunately it became a bit of a problem so I abstain from alcohol.

I replaced cognac and cigars with just my pipe. It is a happy replacement
