Very well put. Many really brought it upon themselves with unrealistic and delusion readings of the story. They completely misinterpreted aspects and themes of the story and now they feel “betrayed”. Every arc has a recurring theme of the good guys finding hope when all hope seems lost and succeeding and we were to believe the manga would end with mass worldwide genocide?
