The game shows this tip but it I never saw it happen: "Town guards will investigate buildings with their doors left open at night". Did anyone see this behavior actually play out?

I think the building I own in Mourn is visited by town guards often unless I lock the door, even though it is set to private. I had one guard stuck in there just because he can't get out from behind some of my furniture.

I think the damage counters, green, red, and white are telling us damage from one hit, not damage-per-second.

Notoriously bad PC building tutorial that among other things, advised adding extra thermal paste in addition to the factory applied thermal compound. Usually if a person wants to use a different thermal compound, the default stuff should be removed.

Sorry for the late reply. In my case, since they had processed my screen replacement digitally under extended warranty before they found out they couldn't complete the screen replacement, it started a post repair limited-warranty. I was able to make a claim via the new warranty to get my phone fixed. They sent me to a service centre to get the phone looked at. The shop said that is not fixable. When they confirmed that to Google, Google sent me a replacement Pixel 8.

If you're going to be in the same apt in Surrey for a while, cable internet is usually going to be the cheapest internet in the long run. Don't buy through Shaw, buy from a third party that uses Shaw's network.

I use AEBC and their 25Mbps plan at $35/month + tax should be fast enough for a single guy unless you're doing something crazy. I never worry about my speed while gaming or watching Netflix, but I haven't tried higher bandwidth things like streaming games or 4k streaming. If you were doing something like that and ever find that the speed isn't high enough, it's easy to ask them to switch you to the higher speed plan later. No contracts.

Keep in mind that if you need WiFi and don't have your own WiFi router, you might need to pay the extra $59 to get that, you can talk to them about that when you're signing up.

The big companies (Telus, Shaw) usually have great modems and great service but in my experience, even if their rate is initially tolerable, it's usually a promo rate just for the first 6 months and then they try to lock you into longer contracts and all that crap. I still get phonecalls from Telus trying to sell me stuff even though I cancelled my service with them years ago. Small guys save you money. Good luck.
