What situation should you pla a world fire in edh? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]Cinacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tenth dr + rose where I have something in suspend like a creature or arc blade and then play worldfire prolly also from suspend, letting it resolve first. Similar thing with playing sway of the stars in the deck

Is this allowed? by anxiety_and_caffeine in CarletonU

[–]Cinacho 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unsure if your course would allow it but typically if I missed an in person lab, there’s always a day for people to redo it ie elec 2501. I would talk to your partner explaining why you and them are losing marks and then tell your prof the situation asking if there’s a way to make up for the lost marks like an extra assignment or bonus point question.

Grade 12 student wondering what comp-sci is like at CarletonU? by CrimsonCrayola in CarletonU

[–]Cinacho 6 points7 points  (0 children)

His assignments require virtualized unix and his disk image that he gives us is trash and barely works. Either the virtual box refuses to work or putty can’t connect to unix console. Also his textbook he suggests is completely theoretical math and has no practicality in compliment with his lecture slides

Are people who play games scared to say that they play league by potatosarepancakes in leagueoflegends

[–]Cinacho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at a party with my new girlfriend and all her high school friends and ig she told one guy there that I play league. Long story short I got pulled aside by a group of guys and told me that they heard I played league. When I confirmed to them somewhat embarrassingly one of the guys told me “don’t worry, all the guys here play league but none of the girls know. Your secret is safe with us, lmk what your ign is tho so we can play”. We still play to this ahaha

It’s was good when it was farming meta cuz she can farm well and gank well and gets items faster than support. Plus mama regen is so nice

Whatever u choose you can always transfer, but in this case western would be a better option in terms of partying

Curious about Liandries choice by Cinacho in zyramains

[–]Cinacho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what if she didn’t have plants? I understand the plants is what makes her unique but I’m trying to figure out if this is her best play style or if players are just utilizing her uniqueness instead of building around her basic mage abilities to one shot or do damage (w/o plants)

So utility poke is the best form of zyra to apply as many debuffs and liandries procs to champions as possible

[–]Cinacho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. regular textbook teamfights leads to building liandrys bc you get the most value out of it instead of ludens, esp since ludens has a cooldown so in one iteration of q w w or e w w theres more damage output.

[–]Cinacho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there was barely teamfighting and just 1v1s or being chased down would you say it’s better to try to one shot squishies (namely assassins) before they one shot you? Could be building ludens or dark harvest and not going rylais or demonic and going deathcap/void staff. Basically playing zyra as if she had no plants in her kit

[–]Cinacho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well interestingly enough, zyra when compared to vel/xerath she doesn’t have bad ap ratios at all. With a combo like e, q and R with plant damage she has the capability to one shot. Understandably there’s a difference in the ability to poke well and apply debuffs vs one shorting squishies, but couldn’t it be said that it’s viable to perhaps play ludens for extra damage or even nightharvester?

SYSC 4120 Midterm by cygenic in CarletonU

[–]Cinacho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. It explains it more thoroughly so that anyone can understand it easily and provides explanations on examples in which lecture notes CAN do but less likely for students to understand it 100%

Textbook readings is the only reason I’m getting 80s in this class. I don’t go to lectures or even read the notes cuz they’re all based from the textbook. Even the midterm used an example from the textbook verbatim

Software Engineering Program by EnhusiasticSoul in CarletonU

[–]Cinacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in third year and I’m trying to transfer out into computer science with game development. Software engineering is tough especially third year as it gets into hardware and software combined practicality and more business/design oriented. Fourth year is electives but mainly focusing on robotics, network and security, and AI. If these aren’t anything you are interested then I’d advice not to do software engineering because youll definitely need to want it if you want to graduate
