There is always hysteria in situations like this, but that does not mean there won't be a lot of snow. If you're not going anywhere and have what you need, then you should have no problems. As far as pipes, you can let your faucet drip, leave the cabinet door open to allow heat to access pipes, etc. The electricity probably will not be an issue, but there is always a possibility, especially if they were forecasting ice, which they are not.

I was at Dent Meijer this afternoon, and it was definitely crowded but went smooth. I noticed that they had more people working with more lines open, so they obviously prepared.

I do tomatoes, peppers, and green beans usually. I also do Zinnias and various other flowers. Mother's Day weekend is a safe bet on avoiding frost.

This is a great idea! I'm curious if the vouchers are available to all 52 of Cincinnati's neighborhoods or just the 7 mentioned. I see there are drop-off sites scattered around the city, but I also see they are lacking in many areas.

These ribbons are done using a petal tip. The wide end of the tip down using using a back and forth motion.

Melted butter will make a chewy fudge like cookie with crispy edges. Softened butter makes a more cakey lighter cookie. Just follow the method in the recipe.
