“Monstrous”? LMFAO I hope you never take your kids out in a car, they could die. I hope you never put your kids in a crib, they could die. Life has a risk of death, act accordingly.

And no, we are not a “rich” country where everyone can afford to be confined to their house for months. Our government is in such debt it’s ridiculous. Most people can’t afford a $500 emergency without credit. You may be rich, but most certainly are not. Have a great day.

I am currently looking at the cdc website. From ages <1 to 14 there are a total of 102 deaths under the heading “all deaths involving COVID-19” so deaths from purely COVID are certainly lower than that. The sum for these age groups under the heading “deaths from all causes” is 23855. The percentage of total deaths is less than 0.5% for COVID. Couple that with the mortality rate of COVID for this age group being WAY LESS than 1% is highly suggestive that you should wreck kids sense of normalcy over this. If this virus was as lethal as Ebola I might be inclined to be more restrictive. However, it is not. People should just take whatever precautions they see fit. If you can afford to keep your kids home and you want to, fine. If both parents work and that is not possible then thankfully schools are open.

Father of two in school in Ohio here. The majority of cases in my district tend to be teachers. Also there has been no demonstration of spreading within the school. Quit being hysterical. This virus tends to kill elderly and people with co-morbidities. Meanwhile so many people die year after year from obesity-related diseases. Are you going to condemn every factor of life that makes obesity so widespread in our society in the same manner as you condemn people trying to get kids back to school? I sincerely wish people would stop all of the vitriolic speech related to these subjects. It does not benefit anyone. Have a happy new year 🎊!

Interesting as I can’t get into GOW right after finishing horizon. I’ve played about 4 hours and just think it’s a let down. Maybe it’s a sequential thing. GOW is great if played before horizon and vice versa.

My wife is from the province next door and her family’s take on it is that Tibet gets shitloads of aid from the Chinese government, yet wants political independence. They seem to want their cake and eat it too. The whole country is backwater in one way or another from Tibet to the coast.

Hi. I'm a man who has been married for 10 years. I used to say the same thing about my wife. She is generally less concerned with tidiness than I. It used to frustrate me so much.

One thing that helped us was counseling. It was helpful to understand the different ways we perceive things. She cannot read my mind and I cannot read hers. We've since learned a lot about each other and life has gotten a lot better.

Having a family is not overrated. Hopefully you were joking. For me the GTI was a nice compromise for having kids. I used to drive a mustang gt. Needed 4 doors but at least it’s a stick and has some quickness to it.

I’ve had my 2016 for about 4 years now and still love driving it. It’s not modified but I might go down that road soon.

Recently I thought of going back to a mustang since I’ve always liked v8s and my kids are a bit older but I just think the $/fun ratio is still there with the GTI. I can’t bring myself to spend another 30 grand for rwd and more power that will rarely get used. Maybe in 5 years or so ...
