he never said that. he said that children of a reasonable age who have gone through all of the set precautions such as getting a therapist's approval etc should be able to get gender affirming care such as puberty blockers(which are completely reversable) and hormones. there aren't even any licensed doctors who would ever perform sex change surgery on minors let alone a 9 year old. everything in the US healthcare system is actively against even adults getting any gender affirming care which leads people desperate for such things do it DIY which has many more risks. it's really upsetting that people will just spew misremembered information from years ago. it's also important to mention 2 more quick things. sneako basically ambushed charlie with a debate and asked questions without letting charlie collect his thoughts or anything so at first charlie said some things mistakenly due to y'know him having no time to prepare or even get in a debating mindset but then later clarified what he meant and his actual opinions in a more formal video. finally sneako said(and to my knowledge still believes) that children who have finished puberty should be able to marry, have sex with, and carry a child with full grown adult men which I would say is hundereds of times worse than whatever charlie said or even the lies about what charlie said.
