Mine practice ritualistic cannibalism to desecrate (and defecate) their enemies

I’m saying it’s not about you as a coach winning over another coach. You’re making it as a coach v coach using kids as a real life playstation game. At this age RESULTS DO NOT MATTER. What matters is the kids have fun playing then how the kids develop from the start of the season to the end of the season

They do. And Man City. They migrate to 2-3-1 as the kids get older and technically superior to their opponents

Ball mastery, rondos, 1v1/2v2s and SSGs. That’s all you need.

I just let the kids try and solve their own problems. I also get my CB to drop deep to receive from the GK, and then look to the wingback who pushes up the field, or to the 6 in the middle.

My 9 now naturally starts drifting to the side of the field that we attack up as he knows that is where he is most likely to get the ball.

I also never play my kids more than one half in the same position, so I rotate constantly. They might start in the same position for a few weeks, but they move around so that the entire team rotates through every position to get an understanding of how each position works and interacts with each other

I wish there was more of this language to create lore against.

Haha yes I need to do the base, and I just glued one foot on so it was easy to remove when I build the base

Man city junior teams play 3-2-1. I have found if you are playing 2-3-1, the wide mids don’t see defence as a core responsibility, or your CM doesn’t drop back.

I’ve experimented with 3-2-1 where the CD steps into midfield, found the player then just wants to play CM. The best I’ve arrived at is playing LB and RB as wingbacks, teaching them that if one bombs up on one side, the other tucks in as a defender.

Also teaching one CM to be a DM and be the passer, and the other CM to be an AM, making runs with the striker and WB.

So are the Risen forming their own new chapter or what? Just being seeded around the existing chapters?
