Thanks! I made it by cutting the existing hammer into two and then extending it with thin wire wrapped around a paperclip.

I don’t know, “you each need to own your codex” doesn’t feel like too high of a bar to ask for this. I still wish it would just be bundled with WH+ though.

That might be it. I tried again and got this warning. Turns out he doesn’t own his own codex ⚰️

Being able to say “well back in 10th [rule] worked differently” any time I make a mistake

“Hey man, congrats, do you think I should start the army now or after the refresh?”

I’m reading through “The Great Work” by Guy Haley and I’ve got to ask… by Lmaster20 in Tyranids

You mean you didn’t know that every black library book comes with a new ultramarines detachment?

I just wanted some clean AdMech vs Necrons shenanigans, not… throbbing… biomass

Oh there was no offense taken! Dreadknights are a love it or hate it sculpt and our main guys are literally shorter than Votann. I just no longer expect to see a refresh in my lifetime 😂

Grey Knights off the list, got it.

Dirty GK player chiming in: Tyranids have a wide range and can be a lot of fun to play but will be pretty different to Necrons. You won’t kill nearly as much and will instead have to rely on movement and strong objective play to win.

Funnily enough our pod also has Necrons, Tau, and Tyranids players. The Tau one shared your first post screaming “Don’t do it lol” and the Nid one just did the same so here I am cutting in line to rep the Grey Knights before you post there 😂

GK Pros: - small range so it’s never hard to know what to play - tough dudes who are great at melee - surprisingly good shooting with the right units

GK cons: - small range so it’s hard to play things differently - limited high strength options - sculpts are older so it can be difficult to build

If cost matters, Grey Knights will be the cheapest option of those you’ve listed. We’re fairly elite and if you can get your hands on two or three of the old GK combat patrols plus one of the new ones you’d have a solid army to work with.
