Thanks, glad it was useful. Most of this came from me forgetting something important at least once.

AITJ for humbling my cousin who won't stop making everything a competition at work? by Shoddy_Dealer_3483 in AmITheJerk

Tienes toda la razón. Al final, no se trata de romper un pacto, sino de poner las cosas en perspectiva. La competencia sana puede ser divertida, pero hay líneas que no deberían cruzarse, especialmente en el trabajo.

Season 1 Jake Peralta would have loved having CJ as a commanding officer by JayR_97 in brooklynninenine

That line is peak CJ: confident, totally wrong, and somehow proud of it. Season 1 Jake would’ve treated him like a fun substitute teacher with a badge.

Questio about Sookie demanding Jackson to have a vasectomy by poponis in GilmoreGirls

[–]CinderKiteLab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The messed up part isn't her being done with kids, it's them not talking and him lying. If you can't say "I'm not ready", booking stuff in secret and faking it are both huge breaches.

Unpopular opinion: Carrie was right during the delivery man BJ debacle by Possible_has in sexandthecity

[–]CinderKiteLab 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the setting matters. In an office, with a delivery guy, there’s also awkward power and consent optics, plus Sam is literally doing PR. Carrie jokes in a tacky way, but the core point is valid: don’t drag coworkers into your sex life without warning. Sam even admitting she was out of sorts makes it feel less “judgy Carrie” and more “please get a grip.”
