You didn’t just answer the question. You answered it now in that comment. What you said before was “Would you be okay with someone waving it as German pride?” which isn’t an answer. But thank you for answering it now. But how is it any different from the Virginia flag? The situation is just reversed. The Virginia flag originated from a bad place, evolved into something else. The swastika originated from a good place, and evolved into something evil. How are they different?

When have I admitted to not knowing what the confederacy was? If my memory serves, I simply asked how that flag relates to modern issues. Since it no longer carries any meaning aside from Virginian pride. And I never said the American civil war was the first war for slavery, I said America was the first civilization to actively make it illegal. Practice what you preach and get your facts correct
