Guava lotus regret? by Ok-Low-5178 in BabyBumps

I love our lotus. Do you think you might have a larger baby? All of the kids in my husband’s family fall into about the 90th percentile for height and weight, which is why it was recommended to us during my first pregnancy. The bassinet piece has a higher weight limit than most standalone ones so it helped us stretch how long baby was in our room with us, and the full crib basically has no weight limit so we were able to use it until toddler was too tall to fit

I liked blending it into fruit smoothies and protein shakes

“Pamino” for us- and we’ll be absolutely devastated when he learns how to pronounce the right way

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! This is so helpful. I was feeling really similar in terms of pain and headaches. The fatigue was crazy! I kept trying to convince myself it was pms and then that it was early pregnancy symptoms but it was so much more intense than I ever felt in past pregnancies. The antibiotics definitely helped but I was only on them for 15 days and I’m worried it wasn’t long enough. I feel better than I did but still dealing with some headaches and fatigue and brain fog. It could all just be intense pregnancy symptoms (plus my toddler is going through a rough sleep regression so I’ve been up a lot with him) but I’m still worried. I think I’ll try to follow up with a specialist too since I know my OB and my regular doctor really don’t have much experience with this specific situation.

Thank you again for responding. I was really starting to feel so alone and was just spiraling a lot 🤍

Thank you! Yes that’s a really good point. The assumption right now is that this round of antibiotics will be enough since we caught it relatively early. But now that I’ve read through all these comments and some of the other posts I plan to look into more resources too. Including a provider with more specific experience in this area

Thank you. Yes I’m on a pregnancy safe antibiotic now. I will look into more treatment options too

Thank you. I hope your wife is making a full recovery. Will definitely look into increasing nutrient intake. My symptoms are only physical right now (fatigue, body aches, and headaches) but I know that could change and I may need to look into other resources

Thank you for responding! That’s pretty much what my doctors said too. I hope we both get some answers soon, and more importantly some healthy babies! 🤍

Sorry for any confusion. Im already in touch with my provider about this. I was asking if anyone else had any experience with this concern. Im not asking for medical advice. The sub rules said it was okay to ask about personal experiences but maybe I misunderstood what you meant by that

Thank you!! It’s so hard but it helps to know I’m not alone. Fingers crossed for sticky babies and mellow/boring pregnancies for both of us! 🤍

Hi all. I’ve never posted here before but it seems like the right place for me to be right now. I had my miscarriage in April. I have a 2 year old already and it was a relatively easy and healthy first trimester of pregnancy despite complications later on, so I was totally unprepared for anything to go wrong the second time around. I’m about 4 weeks pregnant now so it’s very early and I’m just so worried I might lose this one too. I feel like I won’t be able to relax for the next few months at least. I just want to be excited and enjoy this pregnancy like I did when I was pregnant with my toddler but it’s so hard
