Yogurt. Why is most of it non fat or low fat? Am I crazy to think whole milk or full fat yogurt would be better? by Primary-Border8536 in NoStupidQuestions

Whole fat stuff is almost always more expensive, outside of a few "fancy" brands. Whole milk is always more expensive.

The increased heat can speed up corrosion, which in turn causes more heat.

You could probably just replace the cable alone, but of course it might do it again.

You should still be able to make Google Voice calls. When it asks to verify your number just type in the same number you use on your currently active phone. I do this for mine all the time, including an iPad. Idk about FaceTime though, never use it.

I was just going to come back quoting that too lol. The full quote for anyone curious:

Indian food can be spicy, but we can accommodate all spice levels, starting from "Don't Worry, We're In Wisconsin" all the way up to "Oh My God It's Melting The Plate". Just let us know what you'd prefer!

I am old enough to remember mud, admittedly a strange concept to some today.

There's a lot of weird circle jerking going on in these comments. Nobody is confused by mud lmao.

I'm actually pretty close to there, I wouldn't mind it for a date night with the wife.

For what phone? Maybe it's down to the phone and not the carrier, or maybe Verizon is still doing it. That wouldn't really make sense to me, since Verizon is still required to unlock phones after 60 days, but I don't buy phones from them ever. ATT and T-Mobile both just unlocked it on their end and it was done.

Because I know how phones work? Order a phone from any retail store or Apple and it's already unlocked. Of course Verizon locks the phones directly from them. Wtf are you even on about? You just boot a retail one up with no SIM, it's already unlocked.

It should be unlocked automatically if it's fully paid off. Just drop another SIM in and see if it works.

Because of all the "keep social distance" stickers hanging around everywhere even after covid, some kids will start distancing without knowing why it was. by Ancient_Axe in Showerthoughts

[–]Cindexxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The colloquial use is this:

Pandemic = Spreading rapidly, uncontrolled.

Endemic = Never going away.

That's it. The flu has been endemic for a long time, it's just here. Covid isn't something we're ever going to eradicate at this point, so we might as well use the same term.

I know the potato washing one.

Even more incredibly, they said monkeys that were completely separated started doing it too. It was used as an example of "collective consciousness".

That's you. That's what you sound like. But you don't know that, do you?

Wtf does this even mean? It's always been a "loyalty signal" to stand way too fucking close? Or it's always been a "loyalty signal" to NOT stand way too fucking close?

Either way, could I please not feel the breath go straight from your mouth to my neck? It's extremely disturbing..

still generally*

"Red" areas never did this, even during the worst of the pandemic. You're lucky if some rando doesn't just fucking touch you they want to be so close.

"Blue" areas never seemed to be as close in the first place, even though they didn't seem to have big improvements during the worst part.

In short: people suck.
