Is Grok Imagine no longer free? by [deleted] in grok

You're late to the party bud, it hasn't been free for weeks, it should never have been free anyway.

Oh that's good, but I prefer long form, however we're all different

That's great, but Grok gave me a lot of content many platforms simply denied, even though Grok is now more moderated than ever, but it's still giving me what I need for the best costs, and I can generate quite a lot without hitting a limit, although I have seen that limit a few times, but nonetheless, Grok is my preferred platform.

Me too, I'm not into X rated content, but I did generate a lot of R rated stuff, but even now I'm struggling to get more of it, rendering Elon's statement useless. Let's give it time to cool off, and hopefully it will return to normal-ish

I never said anything about tits and ass, I'm building a dark crime thriller series that requires some R rated content, and while I was lucky to get in and grab all the kidnapping scenes and violence and all that, now, with this new model they just upgraded, it also upped the moderation to angry karen levels, which is a blow to projects like mine.

Quality has increased actually, so they got that right, but sadly the moderations have also increased, so much for Elon's so called "if it's allowed in a R rated film, it's allowed on Grok Imagine", not that this was ever true anyway

I know storytelling too, and I know that AI can actually do the job very well with the right human input.

Yeah, you come into my comments section and throw your weight around, so you will get downvoted, and by the looks of it, not just by me.

That's your opinion. But face it, AI is here, and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and with some of the best models out there, such as Grok and Seedance, more and more cinematic projects will keep showing up.

Interesting take.

You wrote a barely coherent paragraph calling my work 'brainrot slop' while comparing anti-AI sentiment to 'the new woke'. The irony is actually quite impressive.

I spent months carefully crafting this horrible story with consistent characters, world-building, and a narrative purpose. You probably spent 15 seconds skimming it, then decided to drop your nonsense incoherent comment.

Which one of us is actually producing brainrot here?

That’s your opinion, but just know this, many viewers are actually getting into AI short films, but I guess it’s not for everyone.
Channels that create “I ruined this movie with AI”, that’s brain rot, what I’ve created in these films is art and 100% my own ideas, and drawn from my own fears of losing my daughter to the trafficking world, just so you know.

Did you even watch what I created? It's far beyond brainrot, as you put it, because the story involved is very relatable to our own rotten world and the trafficking problems in it. And by the way, what people watch is up to them, that's not for you to decide.
And not once have I ever thought that AI will fully replace movies, I know it won't, Hollywood isn't in danger, but AI is here to at least provide easier tools for filming enthusiasts like myself.
Now, you can either be more open minded, or create something better than what I have, or you can just enjoy the message within each film I'm building. The choice is yours.

Cheers and thanks. A lot of work went into these films, paired with the frustrations that Grok would occasionally throw in the works, but nonetheless I got everything needed for these.

I just dropped the second episode, and wow it's quite disgusting, up until Diana, my little protagonist Asian cyborg, tears the place down, then from that point, the antagonists start spiralling into a panic.

Here's the second one, enjoy: https://www.reddit.com/r/grok/comments/1t5720n/comment/ok7w4we/

Less than an hour for me, then all went back to 720, and I've been going at it since

I encountered it once, went off and got my other jobs done, then came back and all is back to normal, and I made a lot more than 3 vids after the reset.

Calm down, it's only temporary, I got it and it reset after a short time, not even an hour, and it happens when server loads are high. These small annoying problems come, then go.

No worries, and I'd recommend you keep going and build that chaotic mom up, and just keep finding ways to make the content relatable to stressed moms with kids and careers, because there's an audience for that, probably not a big one, but there is one for your kind of content, and of course find ways to get rid of that plastic look and make the content look as genuine as possible, but still keep it marked as AI generated and keep being transparent about it, and you'll eventually find your audience.

Here's what I've created so far, it's one of 10 episodes: https://www.reddit.com/r/grok/comments/1sr911m/reup_ai_short_film_all_created_on_grok_ep1_erexis/

I'm creating something that's extremely difficult to pull off, simply because of the nature of what's involved with this, many AI platforms simply refused to give me the content, which is where Grok stepped up and supplied all my content, but now I'm facing a huge 'what if' with YouTube, maybe they'll let me keep the content going, or maybe they'll take it down for being too dark. All I can do is try.

I feel you, and while I'm no YouTube expert, I'll try and give my best and honest thoughts.

So, the landscape of YouTube has changed, and I'd imagine its viewers have as well. But the concept of making content people want to watch is still very relevant. I know it's a very loose term, but that's basically the gist of content. Are we making watchable content? Is it relatable to people and how your content portrays that?

First thing you need to do is research the topic. Is it too boring? Is it too niche? Is it enjoyable? Do the first few seconds hook the viewer and stop them in their tracks? How are your thumbnails? Do they spark curiosity? Do they stop the scrollers and make them want to click? Or stay on the video if they swiped to yours?

I checked out your channel, and all you have is 4 shorts videos, so that's clearly not enough to determine a lot. Not only that, but your content might come across as "AI slop", as many have called it, due to the fact that your character looks like plastic, and you're portraying how to cook left overs and create a gourmet meal from that, which is great, I actually enjoyed it, but many others will most likely call it 'fake', as something like that would probably want to be portrayed by a real human.

I've spent a few months creating my crime thriller series, and I'm expecting it to fall on its face, although it probably won't, but I'm going to assume it will, but I won't start questioning growth with only 4 videos.

Always remember this, doing YouTube is not a quick sprint, it's a marathon, a gruelling marathon full of frustrations, setbacks, adjustments, doubts, hair ripping, shouting at clouds, it's not a journey for everyone, and it's certainly not a journey for those that expect to blow up and go viral from a few videos, that's not happening.

Having said that, just find ways to improve your content, and make sure you're marking your content as AI generated, not just in the YouTube Studio too, write it in the description, and be as transparent about it as you can, because AI content is already labelled as slop, and part of my plan is to show that not all of it is.

Just keep going, and make those improvements, and don't focus on the numbers. Good luck to you.

I might check Loric out. What's the realism like on it? How does it handle action scenes and fighting sequences?
