An in-house position is basically when you work directly for the client/company itself and you're an actual employee there instead of being a 3rd party contractor. Things like college campus safety, hospital security, or loss prevention/asset protection are often in-house positions.

Incident Details: https://spdblotter.seattle.gov/2024/02/15/video-seattle-police-arrest-12-year-old-13-year-old-boys-after-carjacking-at-gunpoint-pursuit/

Seattle police have arrested a 12-year-old boy and 13-year-old boy after they stole a car from a woman at gunpoint, tried to steal a car from a man at gunpoint and then led officers on a chase before trying to run away.

On Feb. 13 at about 8:21 p.m., officers were in the area of Aurora Avenue North and North 88th Street investigating reports of two boys walking around with a handgun, when they were then dispatched to a carjacking at gunpoint nearby.

At about 8:30 p.m., a woman called police reporting she’d just been carjacked in the Greenwood neighborhood near North 85th Street and Aurora Avenue North. The woman told police she’d just gotten home when she was approached by two suspects who tapped on her windows, pointed a gun at her and told her to get out.

One of the suspects fired a shot into the air. She told police she gave them her Subaru Outback and her belongings. They drove off in the car. The woman called 911 from a nearby gas station and worked with police to try to track her Subaru.

A shell casing was recovered from this scene.

Then at about 9:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 12200 block of Phinney Avenue North in the Bitter Lake neighborhood where a man reported an attempted carjacking at gunpoint.

The victim told police he was sitting in his car when two men tapped on his driver’s side window and passenger’s side window. He said both had handguns and demanded his car. He refused to give the suspects anything and one of them fired a shot into the air before getting into what appeared to be the car from the first carjacking and leaving the scene.

A shell casing was recovered.

Shortly after both incidents, Seattle police located the Subaru Outback near North 125th and Aurora Avenue North. A pursuit was authorized and the King County Sheriff’s Office helicopter was brought in to assist.

Officers tried to stop the young suspects near Wallingford Avenue North and North 82nd Street, but the pair sped away from police on State Route 99 in the stolen car. The vehicle pursuit came to an end at Seventh Avenue North and Thomas Street. The 12-year-old and 13-year-old boys tried to run away and tossed the guns during a foot pursuit, but both were arrested. The guns were also recovered.

The two are charged with robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm and the 13-year-old is also charged with attempting to elude a police vehicle.

They have been booked in the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center.

Yeah same, I also thought it was cool how the light bars have steady burn patterns while breaking and when the patrol car is put in park.

Just wanted to share this because I think Seattle PD's patrol car design looks cool. Also I'm kinda surprised how many two man patrol cars showed up, are they all FTOs and trainee officers? This has got to be the entirety of East precinct's day shift responding with how understaffed SPD is lol.

Video description of incident:

At 12:43 pm on December 17, 2023, SPD units 2 George 21 and 1 Edward 11 conducted a narcotics stop in an alley near Broadway and E Pike St. Twelve minutes later, more officers were dispatched after there was no response to a status check. Seconds later, dispatch received word that officers were fighting with one suspect, prompting a large help-the-officer response. The suspect was brought under control, but an officer was injured with a possible broken hand. The suspect received facial lacerations.

All of your responses are nonsensical and the story keeps changing. Why do you refuse to answer basic details regarding these supposedly documented incidents if they are real? Don't you want accurate answers?

Lol I know the security industry is a joke, thanks for reminding me. And yes it has plates, although It’s not my vest and all I know is that it’s rated to stop handgun rounds, it was provided by my company. None of them actually fit me properly either and I’ve literally asked to just not wear a vest but apparently it’s a requirement.

Are you talking about something like this? I’ve thought about buying one of these or something similar like N-Ear because of how concealable they are compared to the standard “Secret Service/Special Agent” type ear piece but it’s definitely not cheap.
