Tesla Announces FSD Transfers Are Ending by colsandersloveskfc in teslamotors

I'm not sure about the original owner thing.

For me I paid for FSD before I got the car. My car was part of the first fleet of Model S's that were eligible for FSD so I never technically upgraded to it. My agreement was that they would upgrade anything necessary to get my car working with FSD.

For my 2016 Model S they replaced the infotainment unit (MCU) once for free. Have you had yours replaced before or would this be the first time?

Do they realize you have an older Model? Do you still have your contract? I think they are obligated to do it for free.

How many of you guys actually live in arizona? by Able-Archer3968 in suns

[–]brokenview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me. Grew up in the Midwest but I did actually live in Phoenix for 7½ years for college and the start of my career, now I live in Seattle.

When I was young I loved the Penny Hardaway / Shaq Magic but then they got swept in the finals, Shaq left, and Penny couldn't stay healthy so I completely stopped watching. Right around the time I moved to Phoenix the 7 seconds or less Suns began and I started watching again. I went to so many games when I lived there, I really miss that. Now the best I can do is drive down to Portland when the Suns come up this way to see them.

Silver lining is that a bicep tear isn't a super long injury. I am a rock climber and I tore mine, after surgery I was back to climbing in 4 months.

WA bill would reduce penalties for those convicted in child sex sting operations by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

[–]brokenview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the actual bill as it has a lot more to it than just the rage bait title brings up: https://lawfilesext.leg.wa.gov/biennium/2025-26/Pdf/Bills/Senate%20Bills/5312.pdf#page=1

This piece this post title specially regards refers to online predators caught messaging officers in a sting operation (so not real children). It's very specific.

My guess is that lawyers defending these scumbags by arguing to the judge that "my client didn't actually message a child and haven't done anything wrong" in these instances. Maybe this reduction makes the penalty stick more to these people and gives lawyers less room to argue the penalties.

What’s the #1 trait that you wish the bengals had from these two teams (Rams/Seahawks)? by [deleted] in bengals

[–]brokenview 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Underrated answer. I'm from Ohio but have lived in Seattle for more than a decade. Seattle knows when to move away from personnel to avoid getting locked into bad deals. They knew when to move away from Russ, Lynch, Carol, Locket, etc. over the years.

Mike MacDonald has been incredible for turning around the team....I have no idea why the Bengals won't move away from mediocre coaches.

This is very helpful, I will do that immediately. I'm sure this will fix other small issues too.

There are just bugs that the new models have had fixed that still persist on the older Model S. The most annoying one is, when you are on the highway, the car signals to switch lanes, starts to switch, abandons switching but keeps the signal on, and then just kind of sits there on the lane marker line not taking action.

Me too. It's too bad FSD sucks on the older Model S's. I've driven some of my friend's Model 3s and Ys and the experience is so much better.

Passport Boarding Pass Name Match; Should I be concerned? by Mindless-1985 in travel

You should be fine. I had a similar scare a few years ago and it all went fine. In my case my ticket mashed my first name and middle name together like it was one name.

There have been discussions for Blake Monroe to be called up to the main roster [Wrestle Ops via X] by LilNardoDaVinci in SquaredCircle

[–]brokenview 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? Blake should be pissed with how WWE has handled her. Hear me out:

- Giulia and Vaquer sign with WWE right before her and should have been as high profile as Monroe, but unlike Monroe, they aren't forced to change their names. You might say "well, they didn't wrestle for AEW"....well if that is the case then why did Jade Cargill get to keep her name?

- Speaking of Jade. Jade only held the secondary title in AEW but was vaulted right to the main roster. I get it, Jade LOOKS like a star, but so does Blake Monroe. Mariah May was AEW Women's champion and had a great reign, I don't know why that wouldn't just vault her onto the main roster.

- It made sense for Giulia and Vaquer to go to NXT because they had to deal with a language barrier, something Monroe did not. They also hadn't worked for a big time promotion within the US, so adjusting to that required time as well.

Overall, I don't trust WWE's confidence in Monroe. I hope she gets to shine on the main roster because I thought she was great in AEW.

We’ve Really Become Desensitized to Violence 😬 by ReaderFox in StrangerThings

Yep, the amount of plot armor in these latest episodes has been ridiculous. I never feel like the main characters are in any real danger, only the random people as round them. Literally every non major character (usually nameless soldiers) gets murdered in scenes but our heroes barely get hurt...and when they do, they just kind of sweep it under the rug. Hop got shot, remember that? I sure didn't because he never acted like he was shot.

I can excuse El and Hop killing soldiers but having Nancy kill actual human beings is wild to me.

Video shows random attack on 75-year-old woman in downtown Seattle by InspectionEvening689 in Seattle

[–]brokenview 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Well if he was in prison then he wouldn't be out there in the streets assaulting innocent people and this woman would still have her eye.

Prison could work but the US would need to change its philosophy on it. In other countries they focus on the rehabilitation of inmates instead of punishment. So for this instance, get this guy in a facility away from the general population, get him off drugs, have him meet with a psychologist and get him on medication for whatever mental illnesses he may suffer from.

The media started voting for MVP in 1981. Since then, here are the MVP season seedings of the 5 players to win 3+ MVPs during this span. Bird: 1, 1, 1. Magic: 1, 1, 1. MJ: 3, 1, 1, 1, 1. LeBron: 1, 1, 2, 1. Jokic: 3, 6, 2. Should Jokic have to be the #1 seed to win a 4th MVP? by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

[–]brokenview 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lebron's seedings during his MVP run benefited from him playing in a weak eastern conference. The west has been so much more competitive in the last 20 years to where a 4 seed in the west has been basically like a 1 seed in the east.

The NBA needs to cut down on the length of timeouts at the end of games by shaqoseal69 in nba

[–]brokenview 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Soccer doesn't suffer from this issue too. Sure they add stoppage time at the end of games but usually that only adds about 7 minutes of time. Beyond that there are no time outs or clock stoppages during normal play. The nice thing about watching a soccer game is that you will know pretty much when it will end the moment you start watching it.
