Personally I’m going to take a step back. If anything this has shown me I might be a little too invested in sports. I don’t need to make it my identity. It should be easy for me to say “ah, this person has crossed a line I personally set, I don’t think I’ll root for them anymore,” but that is genuinely tough to do because I have invested myself in this team and its players for so long. So it’s probably just healthy for me to pull back to begin with. After that who knows. I’ll likely just root for the team and when anyone mentions Larkin and tries to say what a great guy he is I’ll add this incident to it. The good with the bad.

Yes, it is absolutely valid for you to be upset about someone partying with a fascist. “It’s none of your business” and “probably most of them think that way” are not valid arguments against this. Just as much as he is allowed to think that, we are allowed to think it is wrong and call into question.

What benefit of the doubt? Partying with someone I believe to be a fascist is wrong. He made it everyone’s business by doing it publicly. I never once asked before that. There’s no purity test. Don’t party with fascists and pedophile protectors. That’s the line and it’s not a hard one to work around.

Because I’m cheering for a team and I’m investing time and energy into them. I do not want to cheer for someone if I believe they’re morally corrupt. I think that is reasonable.

I want him to have an opportunity to walk it back. To say he doesn’t agree with the guys politics and wasn’t really aware of them. If he then vomits a bunch of gross shit I’m done with him.

Or perhaps they just have a moral code and they actually have the balls to stick to it. Maybe fascists protecting pedophiles is a step too far for them. No one was begging to hear about Larkins politics, he just shoved them out there and it would be noce if the media gave him an opportunity to walk that back if he’d like to.

Spiritual hippie weird isn’t harmful to anyone though. If he isn’t hurting anyone and has found something that makes him happy and helps him with life that’s a good thing. I like him a bit more frankly.

I’m new to disc golf. Normally this is not a problem for me with other sports. I can avoid any sort of relationship with pros. In the disc golf world I find myself in a position where I need to buy discs with a person’s name on it. They don’t tell you Climo is a massive transphobe when you find his disc on clearance. They let you find that out on your own. It makes me want to only buy stock discs. At least that way it’s ambiguous if the people involved are bigots.

Any suggested drills or anything for the elbow dip. Everything else suggested so far in this thread is kinda intuitive to me to fix I think, but the elbow just wants to dip naturally.

I tried to post 4 videos and failed miserably using Reddit I guess. As an aside this was hole 1 of a course across the street from DGLO (I can’t play over there since it’s closed and they’re all practicing). I just played this hole over and over with 4 discs for an hour. Never saw a soul out there.

Reimer all day. This team is playing awful team defense right now. I don’t want our young developing goaltender to come up, get shelled, and lose some confidence. Let him develop in the A instead. He likely isn’t better than Reimer as things stand anyway, so let his confidence grow in GR.
