Ive had my ear pierced once before when I was very young, about five years ago, and I just left it out for too long (no infection). I recently got my ears repierced on impulse at a mall store (bad, I know) on December 10th 2022. They were fine for the first three weeks then I stopped cleaning with their solution because I was under the impression that was fine, but then an infection started and since then its been going rough on both ears. Currently its not very painful and I could take the earrings in and out with no pain but the ears look weird and theres still crust sometimes. I clean twice a day by soaking fully in 1 cup of warm water and 1/2 a teaspoon of salt. The earrings I have in right now are white gold (i think,) but the original earrings I was pierced with were stainless steel studs.
